This would be great for drawing and painting but I can't get pressure sensitivity working properly. The brushes can make use of pressure from the iPad pen, but it gets way to weak even if pressing down hard and there seems to be no way to adjust and make it more sensitive. So it makes painting with iPad as a drawing screen pretty much useless anyway unless it's more graphical work as shown here I figure, where I suppose it's set to a fixed opacity and size of brush and not using pressure. Or is there any way to adjust the pressure sensitivity?
@LemonPaperLab8 күн бұрын
That’s a good question. I haven’t worked with it enough to deal with pressure issues. Hope you can figure it out.

This helped a ton! Thank you so much! I'm trying to make some designs for my merch shop, and I needed some extra spice, so to go with the aesthetic of the merch overall, I sought to make a grid background for one of the designs! Maybe I'll use it for more! This helped me learn how to make a grid, especially one that's good! You rock! 💙

Do you upscale after? Do I upload the jpg back into a 12x12 then to save that size for etsy?
@LemonPaperLabАй бұрын
If you are trying to create digital paper that you want to sell on Etsy then you would re upload to Canva and repeat it on your digital paper size to the repeat scale you want. Depending on your end goal you may need to upscale if you need your repeat larger then what you can create on Canva.

What does the dimensions have to be to cover the leggings and entire shirt?
@LemonPaperLabАй бұрын
You will have to check with the details for each product. But if doing a pattern they have an easy repeat feature so it makes it easy to cover the product without having to know the product size file

Thank you so much for creating this. It saved many hours in the last design I created. And, I could have sworn that not long ago the Marquee tool had an option to cut out an ellipse option as well as the square so I could cut out an oval or a circle with a transparent background, or cut out an image in an oval shape to add to the design I am creating. Am I crazy or was that option in an earlier Photoshop version? I'd also like to cut out an image in an oval shape with nothing around it, or have a transparent oval to add. Hope this makes sense. 😃 Thanks again.

Appreciate the tutorial. Easy to follow although after creating the first color clipping mask, I had to change the blend mode to darken before the black stripes took on the color. I then had to change the blend mode on the stripe pattern layer to darken for the the under color to show. Not sure why I had to these extra steps but it works in the end.

Great review, thank you. 👏🏻 What size are you and what size did you try on? Did they shrink at all? Much appreciated.
@LemonPaperLab2 ай бұрын
The ones I tried were medium. I range from size 6-8 pants. Since making this video printful also came out with their leggings with pockets which is primarily the style I use now and I like to get a large just for more comfort. They don’t shrink so you don’t have to worry about that.

What about png, is stil same method to save as copy..
@LemonPaperLab2 ай бұрын
Export as will give the file a 72 dpi resolution. If your document resolution was higher it will adjust by making the width and height larger. If you want your file to maintain a 300 dpi then go with save a copy.

Hi Trisha, great videos! Wondering on the Kin Custom one-piece swimsuit example, in the upper right corner at the beginning of this video, looks a little weird where the right hip meets the right arm. Is that just a bizarre perspective or a PS cutout artifact?

Does all text have to be rasterized to do anything like this? I assume it can't work (text) with the shape tools (combine shapes, etc)?
@LemonPaperLab3 ай бұрын
yeah you would need to rasterize text. The combine shapes does not work with a text layer. They only work with two shape layers.
