I like the fierce door guardian. :) I often used to have a wander round the shed at Loughborough but I haven't been in it since they cordoned it off.

Lovely shots Phil, the covering of snow on the platforms just finishes it off nicely, it’s just as well there wasn’t anything flying through the other way which wouldn’t be heard by those few, cheers 👍

The best preserved steam locomotive running today. The paintwork is fantastic. Good Video.I recently filmed the Black5 approaching Whitchurch Station in Shropshire the sound from the engine is what i remember from my Train-spotting days in Crewe at the Mucky Bridge and the North Sheds in Mill Street. Great Days.

Great video of the sole surviving Cobo locomotive D5705 one thing I have noticed in this video and other videos and pictures that there seems to be 4 exhaust ports on the roof i assume that the larger rectangular 2 ports are the exhaust ports and the 2 smaller round whole ports were exhaust ports too unless they were former exhaust ports of the steam heating boiler it once carried i have often wondered about this as i am aware that it has a Crossley HSTV8 power unit albeit not in working order can anyone shed any light on this i would be interested to find out 😊

Thanks Steve. Yes, I was pleased with the departure, thought I was going to miss it though! There was a late 350, blocking the view and my train home, was waiting to come into the station 😬. Luckily they let the 359 out first then the tour and kept my train waiting. One time when I was pleased my train was delayed 😂
