I'm not sure but I don't think you live in Rushden, the town centre did used to be great as another comment said the town centre is dying the choice of shops is awful now unless you like nail bars or Turkish barber shops and the town has it's fair share of trouble and beggars ,you make it sound idyllic however the video itself was nice I have lived here for 55 years Rushden is declining year after year I so wish we could go back to the 80s

I live in Raunds not far from Rushden, while Rushden Lakes is great for shopping it can become busy very quickly, you will spend a lot of time queueing especially at weekends, be careful when leaving as the main roundabout is a hot spot for accidents. The countryside around many of the villages is stunning Rushden Lakes has killed much of the town centres in many of the villages

Local businesses thrive here...... Yes shops closing at a rate of knots, the high street dying, trouble with people running riot and litter everywhere..... Yes my town is thriving alright.

This village is also used in the miss Marple movies with Margaret Rutherford between 1961 and 1965, you can see the village in the openingsscène of Murder at the gallop 1963. The house near the bridge was used as the house of miss Marple. I’ve been in Denham several times when I visited Londen and I want to have some peace and quiet.

"He who is bored of Milton Keynes is bored of life". Lived here since 1988. Went to school here, got a job in the city, have never looked back. Have always loved the blend of modern and old. The Green spaces are pure joy, especially out cycling in the summer. Proud to call MK my home.....but dont tell everybody!!!!

Great job. There's another guy in Germany that's automated his lawn mower with GPS and software. Add something like that to this and you can set up a schedule to mow fields for people at night so they have a freshly mown field in the morning. :-)

Lovely little place it used to be, but no more because Thames Water is pumping Raw Sewage it cannot handle into the river that flows through Chalfont and the stench is terrible !!. Why cannot Thames Water handle the sewage ?? there's far too much and it is caused by one thing and one thing only and that is Mass Immigration. Planners never thought that there would be so much sewage and did not plan for it. The folk of Chalfont are mostly Tory but it was the Tories that let them down big time. Of course Labour were no better, they started off the Mass Immigration in the first place.
