Have they improved this in version 19? I have to fix SO MUCH of my subtitles that this get wrong, in every video, I spend so much time correcting the AI subtitles.

Great tips and great reasons to pay the modest one-time cost for the Studio edition! If budget allows, I also recommend that instead of buying the studio license itself, buy the Speed Editor hardware console; this is a great convenience tool and it includes the studio license while costing just $100 USD more than the studio license itself. A great deal IMO!

Ffmpeg is a bit faster and has more options, im converting 720GB of h265 10-bit from my dji osmo Action to proress as im typing this. The problem is 10-bit limitations on the free version both on h265 as well as on h264!

I hate to be THAT guy and it's really not me but I have to call redundancy on this. Why not simply start the video zoomed forward already, then zoom it out via the keyframe? The duplicating only doubled the work only to end up with the same much easier result doing it the simple way.

That's funny.. Using latest Davinci stable version right now not Beta C they recently but out... but it don't show the cache location under media storage... I did however find it and WOW almost 150gb for me. Killed all of that even my laptop overall is running better suddenly. THANK YOU!! CHEERS FROM TEXAS!

Its ridiculous how davinci resolve doesn't add extra snap control and has us clicking extra buttons.

Great quick tip - can be a bit confusing for folks to find the actual downloads. I do disagree on the Speed Editor comment though; I still recommend it as the best value for anyone who wants to buy the Studio version of Resolve since the Speed Editor comes with the Studio license for just $100 more than the license alone and I personally use my speed editor on nearly every project, particularly when getting the initial cuts and timeline layout. I find it saves a ton of time in my workflow but of course that value depends on individual editing styles.

I'd like to request three FULL detailed series please! One on the color tab, one on the fusion tab, and one on the fairlight tab. I've been using da vinci resolve for over 3 years now and know absolutely NOTHING about those tabs! I'm literally intimidated to even click them.

I want to animate my background in a still picture. Make a flame or hair in the wind to move a little throughout the clip. I know in Fusion it needs a background, paintbrush, and distortion. You know how to do that?
