Picking one up today and will have it installed before driving back. Going to put the rear camera on a magnet and test for a permanent location. Planning on getting the side camera kit later on after I try out the main unit first . Mostly I want this for the rear view and hope it’s as good as I’ve seen in these videos.

hi, would you be able to do a video of how to do a playback of the videos? Like what type of flash drive to use & how to format it ? There's not a lot of KZbinrs in details of how you do it like the playback in the computer. it's useless if you can't even do that. I had the unit for almost 1 year now but always have trouble getting the playback in the computer. I think I got the right flash drive but still having problem to see it in the computer. Thanks for everything.

Movement is too fast to judge video quality, which probably is bad. Video does not linger long enough to see anything. If the quality were 8MP, it would look good, but 4k is not enough for 360 degrees video by the time it is dewarped.

@@rohanjosem actually, for some people it is hard to explain how to use these door handles. It will be much simpler to have the automatic door handles for such people 😁 you can have soft close and automatic door opening on model 3 via third party spare parts.

Are the camera input able to be flipped in the settings? I would like to use one with a main camera in the third brake light area of my truck to give me a broad wide view of everything behind me. Then have the second camera mounted in the bumper facing downward a bit. This would give a view of bumper clearance of cars behind me. Activated my a switch to turn it on (or use my Rydeen parking sensor speaker to trigger it on whenever an object is detected..)

YES, you can flip the image for both front & rearview. You may certainly can use it for your truck.

Can it do a stealth mode? Where it acts as a regular rearview mirror but still record all cameras?

Yes. You can turn it off. The primary center will be on. The screen will remain off, but the unit will keep recording. Another scenario: the customer can turn it off, but the unit will keep recording.

Would be nice if Rydeen posted a step-by-step tutorial for how to use the video viewer, how to convert videos to MP4 & how to make sense of the video file names. Instead, you leave it to users to figure it out on their own. Took me a couple of days of trial & error before I understood how to do all this. But it shouldn’t have to be this way.

If we do not purchase the optional backup camera, will it still work? I mean, in this case we won't have a rear view because the original rear-view mirror would have already been blocked or completely taken out. Would like to hear your insights in this regard. Thx a lot!

W/O the optional rear view cam, the advisable thing to do is turn on the screen saver mode, so that the video from the 360 cam turns off & the unit becomes like an ordinary rear view mirror…albeit looking slightly dark.

This thing is a beast. Does it record in parking mode.? How does it store its recording? And for how long does it record in Parking mode?

It records continously in parking (sleep) mode if hardwired for power. The proximity sensor will auto detect a collision or impact and save the last 30 secs of video for you.

@@dnazz9784 I think you are confusing that with the g sensor. The proximity sensor will cause the amber lights on the side of the mirror to glow if they are in your blind spots but could be wrong. This is included in the kit but no mention of how this works exactly.

I just had mine professionally installed (check with your local sound & security dealer) and I can fully recommend this product after using for a week and a half. It offers killer features and ultimate peace of mind while driving or parked. 360 viewing is the real deal. I have the 360x that replaced my OEM mirror altogether rather than being mounted over it. The video makes it seem like a wirey mess but my installers made it all clean and flush so it's not obvious at all.

I have one in my car now, a few weeks, but for my private use and I also drive Rideshare, its fantastic, no bull, and people constantly ask me about the system, it literally catches their attention... and the safety it portrays and actually offers, its impressive...
