Homie is way more talented than i am, but this style of playing has never impressed me at all. To me it lacks any emotion and most of the time sounds like an arcade game from the 1980s. I've always found the minimalist way of playing the best. Especially single note soloing like Sabbath style or Electric Wizard among others will have literally 3 chords and some single notes and will contain so much emotion and feeling. Not a jab at this man at all, he's a very skilled man. I'm just saying that style really connects with some people.
