Okay, basic stuff: To whoever is reading this, the game is available for just 15 bucks until November 4th. Get it, it's a steal. I've gifted it to somebody already as belated birthday present. --------- That said, unfortunately, those improvements come a bit late for me, I feel visualization of armor (and swords!) should have beeen in the game from the get-go. Now we get New Game +, but I don't feel inclined going through the exact same story again just to see 4 more ACs (5 because I missed the fire breathing one) and tougher mobs. Just a hint regarding the new achievements: For Kai's gear you WILL have to reset relationships and hang out with him (or you will be playing the game for a third time for completionist sakes) and the honorary monster gear requires you to do all the levels of the German Monster Club for which you collect stuff. This will take a while, same as collecting a million HB. Not worth it for me, I still consider the game 100%ed. Worth it for you, maybe, if you plan to do it again in German. (As I said, for me playing this game in English loses all the local flair; for an Austrian playing an Austrian game about an Austrian tourist trap in the Alps, seeing road signs in English and talking to "my fellow countrymen and -women" in English doesn't make sense. But I played the game for only myself, not an international audience.) ---------- This boss fight had me switching from gamepad to mouse and keyboard as there is no way I would have made it through the gliding phases otherwise. Therefore I consider it one of the tougher fights, the Tatzelwurm being the easiest by far. Speaking of which, are you sure you didn't get an unique gear item? I thought it's one category item per area boss. Julian I ignored completely, as he wasn't my cup of tea. And the game nudges you towards Hannah (you forgot to turn in the quest) anyway. Finally, as for the story, at 2:36 we have an occurrence that led me astray for a while. Won't go into spoilers, and nothing came out of it anyway. I also remember the special event being a bit longer fight-wise, but the mobs were mostly only Level 2.

Sammy gave you the best recipe in the game. I wonder what would have happened if you'd experimented and discovered it first (although as it happens you ran out of the right ingredients at the time). I think you have to trigger the associated side quest before you can repair a machine.

Oh, surprised by a second video, me like. So now you have those ACs equipped that I ended the game with. Like I said, it's all personal preference; I found the meteors extremely useful. If the butterflies are more your thing, nothing wrong with that. Totally unrelated, I realised yesterday that this game helped on a whole unexpected level. Even though I have a (high) four as the first number in my age, I still listen to the Bibi & Tina audio plays from time to time. (Yeah, I know...) Now, a few days ago a new episode was released, and I listened to it yesterday. It was Halloween themed, and Amelie, the blacksmith apprentice's love interest, returned to the pony farm to celebrate the event and dressed up as a Windsbraut for the occasion. Thanks to this dungeon I knew what that is. *LOL*

Well, welcome back. You had me fooled for two days or so, since you've changed your channel name and I did not associate the new name with you. So the video was just sitting there in my suggestions. But hey, you almost immediately found an innovative way to die, I did not know that was even possible. :D Anyway, I might have mentioned that I used a coin guide when I played the game as I refused to do dungeons twice, and for Snowy Summit it stated that the coin is received "close to the end". You saw yourself when you got it. And then the dungeon droned on and on and on. In short, while it was not bad, it WAY overstayed its welcome. I have to give you one thing; I've never noticed the "snowman progression" - maybe it's a case of female eye for details vs. male sense of efficiency and trying to get the task done as fast as possible. Sorry for generalisation and cliché. Four small points left to mention: * I have never managed to level up with gifts, so I neglected them. Mostly because I didn't really need the return gifts either. * Kai obviously mistakes Café Kaindl for a Starbucks. That said, I'm still toying with the idea, even though I don't drink coffee, to enter one and say to the cashier, "Grüß Gott, ich hätt bitte gern an Kaffee. Einfach nur an Kaffee." :D * Hannah as the resident hippie likes anything organic and flowery. * Knowing that German family names mostly originate in professions I REALLY don't want to know what Bastian Schweinsteiger's ancestors did during the Middle Ages. :D So, have a nice rest of the weekend and see you next video...

Wenn ich schon beim Thema bin, bist du jemals über den Bach beim Rastplatz gleich beim Start vom Doberkogel gegangen (wenn man den Weg nach Südosten geht)? Kann natürlich sein dass die Truhe dort nicht mehr sonderlich wertvoll ist.

If you select an existing recipe and then fill it in, you will be offered the chance to make multiple of that recipe. You seem to need lots of metal bars for further crafting, but I don't know any other direct use for scrap metal, if you're waiting for something else to finish, it might be worth putting on a few more metal bars at the same time.

Most important thing first, you can continue the game after finishing the story. I did collect the urns and the 100 little figurines after that. (The map tells you where you are still missing some by region when you turn on map details.) Ah, the brain starts to rot, I couldn't remember delivering that thing from the plane's cargo hold, despite 100%ing the game. And I hope you won't be too disappointed when I tell you that the tarot cards are just collectibles and don't do anything else besides being cute. They were a stretch goal on Kickstarter to add more flesh to the game and one of the high sponsor tiers had them as physical gimmick. (That was way beyond my patron sum, I got myself the Mika figurine.)

Guess you might be the first one to actually solve the lighthouse puzzle before being sent on the way to solve the lighthouse puzzle. ;) 7:49 And I hate to admit it, but I couldn't figure out how to get over the final light / water beam (whatever this is). Yeah, turns out you published too many videos to keep up when I was busy. :D So, I'll just combine the comments here: 29:02 Correct, that's (almost) what I meant. The combo is to blob the mobs and then place a fixed plasma ball next to it, it will damage them for some pulses. 35:51 I think that was the hardest puzzle in the whole game. I had to look it up on two LPs. The first one "cheesed" it by putting a blob into the water and then fired up diagonally, but that did not work for me. And while the second did it the normal way, I still had to do it twice as I've placed the blob too close to the pipe and thus the electrcity ball bounced off somewhere. For previous videos: Nice to see that you've found stuff that I did not, so there's something new for me too. Especially on Kolmstein, which I seemed to have neglected a bit off the beaten path. BTW, I have noticed that during your Brünnelsumpf exploration video you haven't kayaked between the two islands with the final boss dungeons on it. As for the story, yup, you've figured it out, the visit to the museum was the key, now there will be some fallout (and some people I wrongly accused in my mind of being in cahoots with the mayor). The repairable trash doesn't do anything, just fetches a better price when selling it to Klaus. This should just be an option when talking to him. No idea why it didn't work for you. The enitity's gear is nice, but when I got that scene I've already found better stuff for every category. (Good thing for people who haven't explored everything though, but I felt maybe the devs should have made it "to scale"...) The Raffelmandl is not attacking you, but drops a significant amount of HB. It colours the fight gold when you kill it, this is just a graphical effect.

The only thing that convinced me that I wasn't trapped for good / had to reload was the waystone in that room. :D Speaking of the blob, a) yes, the spells in that area are cool, and I have the utmost trust in you that you will figure out how to best use them. (There is a neat little trick to it. I'll get back to you in a few parts if I don't see it. ;) ) and b) you've already seen the chest right at the entrance of Brünnelsumpf... Just two quick things. Unfortunately blowing the Alphorn in the dungeon does not solve the poisoned water problem outside, and as for the abandoned construction site in HB, as far as I know this won't get resolved, unless it's at Level 3 for the Teens, but I wouldn't know that.

Ah yes, Kai is so in his own world that he doesn't even realise how obnoxious he is. :D But yeah, most of those characters mellow down a bit even though the first impression might make you think otherwise. After the patch his line with the teal jacket doesn't necessarily work anymore though. BTW, since we share a dislike of spiders - they were okay for me in this game, but not so much in others - according to the patch notes they've also added an arachnophobia slider in the menu that changes their look. Maybe that works better for you, you may have to try it out though.

Well, you found out where the dungeon is in the end. I guess it's a cultural thing. What I mean by that is that Marina told you that the boss dungeon is on the summit of Doberkogel. And as an Austrian you are more likely to be familiar with a Tatzelwurm (de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatzelwurm_(Fabeltier)) being the boss monster. But hey, getting new stuff is always worth it, as we've talked about it, and I got to see the new outfits and a campfire conversation. I neglected those since I felt you don't get relationship levels there.

I'll just say, Greff has a fitting Tarot card. Although I would have given this one to Soot. :D (You'll see what I mean when you start targeting those urns.) Finished the story of this one a few days ago, but it took me until today - and several guides - to find all those 100 statues and the final hidden deliveries. All in all I feel the game was a bit short while still really sweet, and it was nice to see one's name in the credits. Completely forgot that my Kickstarter level entitled me to that.

Since this is the most famous Austrian German Shepherd dog I felt an obligation to name this one Rex. The game wouldn't let me, though, as it was not among the suggested names. :( (In the end I went with Esterházy, as it was one of the more stupid names. *lol*) Nice episode, as usual, and you more or less have a lot of the clues already. You found a dungeon in a far away place, and remember what you've said yourself regarding the Overgrown Cave... (anything beyond that would be spoilers)

Ich mach' mal auf Deutsch. Ich glaube du hast sympathetic oder likeable gesucht für sympathisch. Wobei ich aber sagen muss, für eine non-native, die wie ich meine rausgehört zu haben jetzt in Irland lebt (sorry wenn ich auf dem total falschen Dampfer sein sollte) machst du deine Sache mit Aussprache und Wortschatz aber sehr gut. Natürlich hast du in dem großen Gebiet vom Dungeon genau wie ich eine Truhe übersehen, und zwar in der "Unterführung" beim Slalomrundkurs im Zentrum. Da gab es noch einen zweiten Stock nach unten; war aber soweit ich gesehen habe nix wichtiges drin. Gertrudes Quest habe ich zwar interessehalber gemacht, weil ich dachte dass etwas Hintergrund erzählt wird, aber ihre beiden Belohnungen sind nur HB und daher relativ sinnlos. Oder sagen wir, vor allem nützlich wenn mal viel kauft statt die Ausrüstung zu suchen. Und was die gute BM Wagner betrifft: Ich vermute ja, die hat ein Vorbild, dem sie optisch auch ähnlich sieht und auch ziemlich, sagen wir mal streitbar ist: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johanna_Mikl-Leitner

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I immediately noticed the strange portal, but at first thought that the devs forgot to add the animation. Couldn't be a coincidence when it also happened at the exit. Wooden masks? Party lights? Well, why not? But I've never noticed the colour of the mobs. And yes, those were very good questions, and you will get the first answers soon. You won't encounter those weights again though - they drove me crazy as I had the same idea how to get to that "upstairs" crate. And had to resort to a streamer. Another great idea would be to hang out with Renaud, you are right.

To be honest, I expected much worse than 19 deaths, most of them just caused by overthinking. Happens to the best of us... like when I had to look up a solution in a later dungeon where I got helplessly stuck, and the solution was to place a blob a bit earlier and just jump over the beam. :D I guess I had around 10 deaths in there, too. Most of them on the third portion of the raft ridee and once earlier in a totally harmless spot where the gamepad didn't get the direction 100% correct and sent me into the river 4 times in a row. Anyway, since Overgrown Cave (where I blundered outside and sent myself down the ravine on the way back from the goodies *lol*) is next for you, maybe you can tell me what is so off with the monsters in there. (I picked up on the other strange thing immediately, but thought it was a bug at first. It was not.) About your sword problem, if you've sold a better one, you can always buy them back from the store. Don't know how much that costs, I've never done it. Ah yes, about your question on my previous comment, the Yakuza series is more or less GTA in Japan, just very weird and more hand-to-hand combat focused.

Nice, you've found the Attack Conduit I was talking about. :D It was very useful for me until almost the end (I finished the game today and it's not that useful in the dedicated boss dungeons) as it essentially cut the toughest bosses' health in half. I kept it on cooldown in case a later wave included a magic-shield-monster. I am looking forward to seeing you how you continue with your way through the game, and how your final scene will look like WAY down the road. :D BTW, there is a villager who unlocks a third attack conduit slot for you (and I've found others who suited my style better than Whirlwind) and Renaud has some pretty useful stuff. Yeah, and that's why I keep on rambling to everybody to pick up everything; you need the items to shrink the charms. It makes your life thta much easier when you can throw up like 7 different ones that throw monsters down when you kill one, or replenish TP or MP on a kill all at once. :D

3:46 Strangely enough, I found Glacial Galaxy easier in the game as opposed to the demo, especially the final fight. May have something to do with bringing along better equipment, and being more in groove with the gamepad again.
