Ёлы палы!! Какой напильник для очистки деталей и самого затвора!!! Эти вещи обрабатываются химически и возможно пескоструятся. ПРОВЕРЯЮТСЯ микрометрами и нутромерами. Чтобы понимать мм потери посадки. Особенно в делах реставрации. Ужас !!! Осуждаю такой ремонт деталей СМ и УСМ!!!

Personally I don't like the stock! The coating looks to "thick" but seeing what you started with perhaps it was inevitable?, one tip, it you are degreasing anything with acetone wear rubber gloves! all you did was put the oils and greases from your skin back onto the metal! Oh and if your polishing something like that brass fore end cover don't put your fingers inside! I have seen men lose fingers doing just that so be careful! Cheers.

From what I observe you have effectively cut off the inlet ventilation of the router. You need to drill some holes in the timber that lifts the router before you overheat the router.

Not Restoration. Electrolysis REMOVES metal that has oxidized. You should have boiled it instead. Heating and grinding and slapping a coat of cold blueing is incorrect for resto. Stock looks nice. Good wall hanger
