There hasn't been a train in there since late February 2020. Ohio Central Railroad ran Burr Oak coal trains from Burr Oak to the power plant in Conesville for a number of years till that time. I believe the crossing and spur was installed in 2010 or 2011.

Neat video! I'm surprised there isn't some local ordinance that prohibits the use of train horns at night. I'd lose my mind if I lived by the tracks and had to hear that all night.

Nice use of the automobile headlights to illuminate the train. Video recording railroading at night is extraordinary. I saw both LED and incandescent warning lights on this video.

Love those night time videos! Most railroading fans shoot their videos during daylight hours. The crossing signals are so vivid at night. And you could hear the frogs croaking too. 🐸

@@railfanneralex4554 Yes, I agree! The incandescent lights go on and off gently while the LED lights are absolute on or off. Kind of harsh looking, in my opinion.

The dusk lighting effect was really cool. I miss the Gyralite I remember seeing on locomotives as a kid. It was the coolest headlamp ever!
