There's a huge mistake on the tittle. It's not "Trenes urbanos en Barcelona", it is "Trens urbans a Barcelona", in Catalan because it's Catalonia, respect it.

Naderi and Trainzer: I got to travel in this metros (the one naderi has as picture) when they were still in use, my oldest memory on them is from 1995 ( I was born in 1993) and they retired them in 2002 I think.

Indeed, totally true! These 1600/1700/1800 series (as we call them) are actually a French design by Alstom and from the outside almost identical to the BB 7200! =D I really love them!

I'm glad to hear that! They're indeed meant to be commuter trains on the more busy corridors in The Netherlands, but you couldn't have picked a better time to ask your question: most of them are now being renewed and will be used as intercity after that =)

I mean, for example, the third rail-system, the unique trainsets (which only exist in the uk) and the quite antique railwaystations - I like that!

Have you travelled on the HSL to St Pancras - its very fast! Brussels to London - 1hr 51mins. Amsterdam to London - 3h30 with a change in Brussels! What do you mean - You love them for your Originality?

From the emplacement to Amsterdam, and from there on to Brussels =) I have! With the Eurostar when there wasn't an HSL to St. Pancras yet. They're quite different then ours, your railways, but I love them for their originality!
