This video was big help! I found one in stock at a local O'Reilly's while searching online. Although when I went to the physical location it wasn't even in the wiper blade section. I showed the guy this video so he could see what the packaging looked like and he was able to find the one blade they actually had in stock in the back room. Wtf is it so hard to find a wiper blade!? I feel extremely lucky to have found this in the wild. Thanks for this video.

THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I am moving in a week and my trunk suddenly wasn’t able to open! I broke away enough plastic (not all of it) and was able to wiggle a screwdriver in there to open it. You are a life saver. Local mechanic wanted $155 an hour for troubleshooting. Now I’ll be able to open the trunk for now until I get the replacement. You are my savior

Thanks for the information! My Elantra GT 2014 got recalled for that issue. Just got back home from the dealer who told me they need to replace the brake line because it’s rusted. I wondered how that possible since it was oil coated treated every year. Now I understand…

How do you remove the plastic cover to access the lines? I have a 10 forte and rear started pissing fluid after complete pads n rotor change.

Thanks much brother! I battled with banging out the black plastic pieces and I was unable to locate the lever to open the hatch door. My fat ass was wiped out I had enough! My lovely wife comes home and takes a look at your video and goes into her car and within 5 minutes moves the lever and WOW the hatch opens! Teamwork makes the dream work. I will be putting in the new part tomorrow wish me luck or maybe i should have the wife put it in! LOL

Thank you so much for this video. Without it I wouldn't have been able to replace the actuator myself. I wouldn't have even known the real nature of the problem. That said, instead of using a hammer and chisel to remove the plastic, I used a rotary tool with a circular saw blade to cut slices in the plastic covering the lever. I then used a pry bar to break bits of it away. I was a bit more comfortable using a less violent approach. Regardless, without this video I wouldn't have known where to start and would have spent ten times the amount of money to make the repair.

Thank you so much for posting this. My brake light sign came on and it was so hard to stop. I haven't driven it since and the brakes are going straight to the floor. I'm going to see if I can fix it by purchasing a new brake line myself. Of course, I'll watch a DIY video beforehand.

I`ll answer my own question after hours of searching through many forums....NO! DON'T UNSCREW THE ADJUSTER...Use a pilot bearing puller to remove the HK4012 National Bearing. The Flat face of the bearing with the part number Faces Out upon installation! Use Permatex 51531 Anaerobic Flange Sealant on the back of the Carrier Cover GM 12471587.....I hope this helps. Peace

Wife has 2015 veloster both lines rotted only 100,000 km 60 miles.rear ended another vehicle. Cars with 3x the mileage and 10yrs older don't have this issue. Hyundai of Canada rep was a pos too.gonna contact a lawyer

It is surprisingly difficult to find the correct rear wiper blade for the Elantra GT, other than the dealership. Evidently even they may not give you the right one, so I am grateful to you for passing along this info about the TRICO 13-P. Extremely helpful information, thank you!
