Hi, how is moving around this guy when it is folded up luggage-style? Fairly moveable if going place to place? Or is it better with two people and/or getting a dolly?

Oh yes, we still very much enjoy it. Whether it’s going out bass fishing in the morning or hitting the river on a nice day and floating down, and stopping at a sandbar for lunch. It’s still a great boat. 10/10. I like to bring a lawn chair and sit in that floating down the River. Comfort wise, not so great but I don’t mind. I’ve had a couple, regular speed boats, a Bayliner, and a Crownline. The tracker is a lot easier to maintain with self maintenance and I don’t have to worry about hitting a sandbar or something submerged I can’t see lol. It does well on gas too.

Prices and interest rates are high but I think I am going to get a Grizzly 1754 with 75hp. I had a 1860 before back 20 years ago but sold it for lack of use. You guys seem pretty happy with the 60hp. Do you ever wish you had got the 75hp?
@GetzReel
@GetzReel 9 ай бұрын
Indeed the prices are high now, you could almost get fiberglass Tahoe boat for cheaper. But for the 1754 it does just fine with the 60hp. The 75hp wasn’t an option when I was purchasing mine. Although I saw the max rated was a 75hp I’m sure it would be flying lol. I can’t remember how fast we were going up river but for two people with a bunch of supplies on board, it was fine. With two people on a lake we were going around 34 mph. Not exactly full throttle yet. The Bimini top slows it way down if you have it extended and driving.

It’s still great, we do our own oil changes and greasing to the motor. It’s pops right off after every storage season. I would just watch the trailer boards. They came loose, like they stripped them at the factory. We take the battery out every winter keep it in the basement and charge it every couple months. We use it a lot for fishing, but we also use it a lot just to hit the river and float down. Overall still pretty satisfied with it!

Awesome! We still love ours…I’m glad we also got the 60Hp. Mainly because the current is strong in the river. It’s always daunting when you order something $$ like that, but if it’s what you want, and you get use out of it… it’s money well spent! Fun times and good memories!

It took 3 months to get it but it was well worth the wait. The outfitter I used in S.C. was down in Monks Corner and Columbia between the two Tracker dealers it took that long to get my order in line and for them to put everything together the way I wanted. Yours is money well spent. Hope you enjoy it when it comes in.

Honestly…We still love it! We’ve been hitting the river nearly every weekend. Holy smokes the prices have gone up!! back in 2018 we paid $15,865 before sales tax. That was out of Omaha, Ne. I just looked that same set up is now $20,915!! looks like the freight cost has gone up as well as the materials. That’s crazy. We were going to get a size smaller but I’m glad we went with at least a 17ft.
