Oh my goodness, if they had that big of ammunition on the minigun, It would be extremely devastating with it's extreme fire rate.

much bigger. GAU-17 (mini gun) shoots a 7.62mm round. While the GAU-16 (the one I'm using in the video) shoots a 50 caliber round. A 50 caliber round would translate to a 12.7mm round. Just with a hell of alot of more powder behind it. Now the minigun is excellent if we're within 500m of the target becuase of it's high suppression rate. We won't engage with the 50 that close because of chance of ricochet.
