C'mon now, the boards are the boards, and the battens are the battens! 😀 No, but f'reals, the battens are the skinny strips, used to cover gaps or add strength or security. As in "battening down the hatches"; that is, putting those skinny strips (batten strips") across hatches on sailing ships to reinforce them during storms. A thing hath been learned! (Unless you really did know and are just pulling our legs...)

@@LoveHut4Life not a protest rather than mourning for the loss of my beloved country where we were able to compromise. Where we based our values on love, rather than hate. Where we had empathy and compassion and true Christain beliefs of helping others in the process. All of that has seemed to have vanished in to the abyss. I’m deeply depressed !
