This is great! I am a ditto user and I have a port. I’ve had weekly infusions for around 7 years and I always have to plan to wear my port accessible clothes for infusion days. This is so cool. Bravo 😊

This was a great tutorial! I don’t feel intimidated about the splicing now, and I think I’m going to try this one! Thank you!

That's great to hear! Splicing makes it easy to cut bigger pieces! this is a great dress to try, share with us if you make it! :-)

What is the DITTO log on site… it doesn’t show up on my IPHONE apps on my iPhone
@dittopatterns3 ай бұрын
Hi! Go to www.dittopatterns.com. On a desktop you should see "Sign in" in the upper right corner. On a mobile divide or tablet, Click the hamburger menu Icon in the upper left corner. The top of that menu should say sign in or create an account. Hope this helps! www.dittopatterns.com/login/

I keep looking at the Ditto especially since the price has gone down. What is stopping me from buying it is that I have tons of patterns and this would require me to buy more.
@dittopatterns5 ай бұрын
with the BYOP (bring your own pattern) feature you can project patterns you already own with your Ditto. Patterns must be in PDF or projector file format.

Hello ! What is the length of the beams?!
@dittopatterns6 ай бұрын
The beam is adjustable and fits floor to ceiling lengths between 7.5-10 feet. The minimum distance from ceiling to cutting surface should be 57.5"

If only it worked! I bought this product got it out, found out it didn't work with my tablet. Then when I got the account up and running on line the app on the phone didn't pick it up. Wanted me to subscribe again WHAT?? I have a subscriptions so after many times trying to call the company, of course no response. I go back on to the computer and my subscription is gone, yet paypal has the receipt. Now what??? Now I have to figure out how to send it back?

I too am having a terrible time getting the account on line to line up with my phone. In the app it looks like I have nothing. Thinking about sending it all back, and this is after I got a subscription. Just can't get the subscription to come up on the phone app.

I'm so excited for this feature! My husband bought this for me during the summer for my birthday. I had always wanted a projector for my patterns. But when we got it set up and found out I couldn't use my own patterns, it was useless to me. He spent $800 on this for me to only use the fabric weights for months. I did reach out to customer service and found out you would be rolling out this feature eventually, but I honestly didn't think it would happen. On a whim, I checked the app this past week and saw you did follow through! I just signed back up to the subscription service and will be giving it a try for the first time today!

Another nice tutorial Amanda! This is perfect for those new to sewing, and your clear instructions are easy to follow. Thanks!

I’m hoping that having the PDF in AO format with only certain layers (?) will work. It is now more affordable and so I think it will be a much easier set up than finding a short throw projector myself and a place to set it up and calibrate it, etc

Can you clarify, when I bring in my own pdf does it project my needed measurements or do I need to do that in advance before uploading my pattern? I hope that makes sense

BYOP is a game changer for me. I first saw a Ditto Patterns projector last spring at the Sewing Expo in FL. I spoke with a representative and told them if they would allow us to use our own A0 patterns I would buy one. And now I have! And at 25% off too. Can't wait to upload and use my own patterns. Thank you Ditto!

One thing that I think would be super helpful for me would be telling what fabric you’re using when making your projects. If there is anything, I have found that I struggle with the most, it’s picking the right fabric for the right pattern.

I believe on patterns, they do offer suggestions on what type of fabrics to use.

This is a great demo & a really cute top. Is there a way to add sleeves? Would sleeves from another pattern work with it?

This is the only video I can make a comment. I am researching this before I buy. But I still cannot tell if I can get a fully custom fit in the bust area. I see from some of the videos where a total bust measurement is one of the measurements. And an under bust measurement. But I don’t see where there is a measurement for high bust nor cup size. I would like to see a demonstration from a well endowed person such as myself so I can judge the fit.

Well let me first say that women aren’t the only ones who sew, I enjoy making clothes for my wife as well. While there are some other solutions that one could rig together to accomplish similar results, ditto is the only one smart enough to create an out of the box complete solution. A bit pricey for me now but I will keep an eye on it…maybe you’ll have a sale one day. In the meantime I’ll keep using my epson.
