Oh wow the animation to love me like there's no tomorrow is nasty,in what way? It was done in support of Freddie's Aids charity. Love between 2 men is no less beautiful than that between a man and a woman. You may not have meant it this way but it sounded very homophobic which is so 1980's. You are the only person I've heard on KZbin who voiced this type of remark. Which is sad because I thought it was only the idiot who sometimes with you who was so nasty. I'll keep watching you so try and be more respectful

If you are listening to original recording it was done about 10 years before Auto Tune was possible. It was recorded in 1988 and Album released in 1989. Computer Technology was just coming on. I lived then as 12th grade High School when Youth Gone Wild, then Later in Spring of 1990 I Remember You was released as single.

Imagine being an 18th Century peasant. . Living on the land. . The only sounds you heard every day were the sounds of nature and human voices. Once or twice a year (if you were lucky) you might hear someone play a simple flute, or fiddle piece . . But that was it. . Then imagine you travel to the 'big city' and go to a cathederal that has a pipe organ. . . THIS is the 18th century equivalent of a WALL OF MARSHALL AMPS! BASS that punches you in the chest and makes your guts vibrate! The WALLS ARE LITERALLY shaking and the bench you are sitting on is trembling with the POWER of the sound. . And such sublime and complex sounds! Nothing like the peasant music you were used to. . NO WONDER the poor believed everything their clergy told them. . . The power of their god was there for the uneducated peasant to experience.

Lets give the man the benefit of the doubt since he is a composer. He probably knows more about music than most of us. Not hating on the song. It is a beautiful song. But if he feels it is auto-tuned then probably it is. Thanks for the honest reaction though!

Thanks for posting. I like Luke Combs, have all of his albums, and am seeing him in concert next month. The guy can certainly sing, but the pitch correction all over his albums is detracting and way too obvious and damaging to the organic quality he's going for. I've done some Melodyne tuning work on my own voice--I am NOT a good singer---and I have worked on real, successful singers as well and there is a point of pitch correction past which weird flanging effects and a watery, almost garbled noise intrudes on the voice, when it is done too much. I hear this all over Luke's albums. I wish he would do more takes in the studio or let his stuff have some flaws rather than manicure this way. I remain a fan of his music, but this choice on all of his albums keeps me from liking them more. I certainly don't hear these kind of fixes with other modern country / Americana notables like Joshua Ray Walker, Pony Bradshaw, Billy Strings, Jason Isbell, Gabe Lee, and Charles Wesely Godwin and only in small amounts with rising stars like Carly Pearce and Megan Moroney.

I have been a recording studio technician for decades. To be honest, there have been times when I felt autotune was needed at least to some degree. Depending on the singer. There are times in modern music where auto tune has squashed the life out of it. there are times where it is actually used as an effect to make it sound almost robotic. There are several ways that you adjust autotune, first set it to the scale you are using in the song. You adjust how quickly it Reacts to the pitch. Then you can adjust how tightly it follows the vibrato. If you set it to react quickly, and tightly you can squeeze The vibrato and pitch to sound like a robot. I am telling you this, because in my professional opinion Tori is not using pitch correction. Just because a person hits a note dead on and then holds it does not mean autotune has been used. If you look at the next note, it may not be dead on. Also, if you look when vibrato is sung the autotune will adjust it to where it is centered to the pitch. Not all of Tori’s notes are dead on and sometimes the vibrato drifts off center. So, unless someone is turning pitch correction, on and off throughout the song, I believe it’s her natural voice. To be honest, there have been times when a singer had a good take, but it was pitchy in a place or two. In post you can just fix those notes.
@rickmassey79074 күн бұрын
Tori is not using pitch correction in any broad sweeping way. Wether a note or two was adjusted in post there is no way to tell.

You might be "a composer" but you can't sing and I've never heard anything you have composed. Not even with A-tune, you're hitting the notes! Also, you really are a dishonest guy: Why don't you tell your audience that vibratos can't be pitch corrected. With A-tune/tone. They disappear! Or get f*cked up! So what you're saying is that: All these artists you criticise are turning on and off A-tune correction 5 times per sentence. That's one of the big problems when you use A-tune at live-performances, and you proudly and entitled told your audience that "A-tune" can be used live also!!! Yes, but the vibratos disappear so it's really tricky. That was a very unnecessary information since you don't react to live performances. But I heard when you tried singing, that you can't create much vibratos yourself. Poor man! That's why you call yourself a composer, because you can't sing! 😂😂😂 You're sitting with a blue big thing on your head, you can't sing, we have never heard anything you have composed, and you have a diagram on the wall that you admire! You react to people/singers and composers much more talented than yourself??? Do you show them the respect they deserve? Do you bother to read and learn something about the artists before you "prove" they use A-tune! For example: Tommy plays all instruments and sings all the vocal parts himself. He produces and edits the videos! So Tommy J IS the "choir" you were talking about. It was obvious you had no knowledge about that! He's also the entire orchestra, so of course it's a studio product! You can't judge any one with a vibrato with your nonsense machine and diagram. Don't you know that??? You're just a loser that can't make it in the music industry, and now you're trash-talking big talents whose levels you can never reach yourself! Shame on you! Grow up, little man! At least, try to get famous so that we can react to your capabilites!
