@@CrypticWorms Ok then. In minecraft, every npc that isn't a player is known as a mob, most consisting of Animals/Monsters. Some of these are summoned, spawn naturally, or can be spawned via an egg. Green Steve is a non-playable character, and is summoned, therefore labeling him as a mob of the Monster variety. There you go.

and to add on, he may not be a cryptid in terms of our world, but he is in terms of minecraft. Case closed, Green Steve is technically a cryptid.
