That's good that this arrangement is in place. The cars belong to his estate which his son is the beneficiary of. Now ACW gets to use them to promote their brand, they make sure the cars are taken care of, and it kinda ensures the cars will stay in the family/estate

As a person that watches a lot drag racing but i agree Street outlaws should gave these young dudes the advice they need for proper protection but Brody just wrecked not even five months ago i would called it quits after i would wreck the first time but definitely the older cars would gave him a chance it bothers me because i never knew him until after he died

Some fair points and you are correct about the incident a few months back. But, we also have to consider the drivers racing at elite levels and street outlaws and they still get back in the seat. Just one of those things

Let’s not assume that when we’ve seen high powered cars flip and go airborne on the street and drivers have walked away. Nothing is guaranteed! But, we can say what wouldn’t have been if things weren’t in place to have the chance. My point here is there are several people taking risk and don’t have the proper devices to provide a fighting chance.
@joshuaortiz609519 күн бұрын
@harshtymesteggy yea every car that raced beside him didn't have cages...I work building n fabricating rave cars...real race cars...at the end of that race let's say he was going 140...cars aren't built to take collision at that speed...he should have known better since his previous accident...
@thewiseguy352911 күн бұрын
Drag cars do zero to 300 mph in 3 seconds. They have a roll cage. People don't die when they crash. At 300 mph. Roll cage saves lives. He would have lived if he had a cage. But it doesn't matter anymore. Because he's all done now.

@ashleymadison938019 күн бұрын
@harshtymesteggy No. He couldn't. He crashed not long ago. Watch that video. Everything about his driving was unprofessional. Then there's the next crash which killed him. Finally, no professional driver would have ever driven that way on a public road and they would not have driven that car with no safety modifications anywhere. That seat was a deathtrap, but I'm sure this fool thought it was bad ass.

The reality is that most of these kids 20-29 yrs have the mentality that they don't think they will die. People over 30 yrs old with builds usually have it done right. This dude was gambling with his life, he didn't cheap out on parts but he did on his life. RIP

The seat was dislodged from the car there is nothing on earth that would have saved him. His car wasn't a car it was a jet with wheels. It didn't even look like a car crash honestly looked like a plane fell from sky don't ask how i know what plane crashes look like. You were speaking straight facts tho good video
@harshtymesteggy19 күн бұрын
That’s not true. And I wish he wasn’t taken. But, there are setups that completely have a chance in these situations. Nothing is sure fire and It may very well be true Dre’s circumstances would have surpassed a setup. But, we know he didn’t have one even remotely fitting for the power and speed his car achieved.

@harshtymesteggy19 күн бұрын
I’m aware the motor failed and there is a clip of a water spot in his lane on the top end. I’m not chasing shit. My point is I want people to consider investing in safety. Who the fuck would have a problem with this.
@3LiterV8Eater20 күн бұрын
People need to understand that it’s not the crash that will take a life. It’s the sudden stop. 1stock hit a concrete pillar that did not move. That is the point that caused the loss of life. He could have had all the safety equipment in the world and it still would have ended with the same result most likely at that speed. The only way to be better protected is to keep it on the race track and off the streets. My prayers go out to the family and friends. This young man’s life was taken away way too early.
@harshtymesteggy19 күн бұрын
I completely agree with your point of keeping it on the track! Thanks for sharing. But we both know this is not gonna happen 100%. People are gonna race at the track and people are gonna race on the street and my hope is that more people will spend money in safety to preserve their life. Thanks again for the perspective!

He crashed at the track too and people have died at the track too. This type of video imo is for clout and we in the car community dont need preaching at. He crashed at the track months before this with no puddle etc. When it's your time it's your time point blank period. Even if he had the safety equipment at 160 plus mph the results would still have probably been the same so stop it.

@ezcp6y point being people have died at the track and he didn't have a roll cage there either and still lived. If he had a roll cage and died you all would be saying something else. He died doing what he loved. This vid is silly and sick imo. The video maker starts out saying this isn't gonna be a video of what he should done then goes into a tirade about safety etc. Smh it's clout chasing
@israelishome200220 күн бұрын
@redbone8844 yeah i have a degree in ancient near eastern studies, have toured israel on several archeological surveys and speak biblical hebrew. Some obscure verse from ecclesiastes in English doesn't take away from the entirety of the scriptures that state Adonai/Yah is the master of life and death. I can put several scriptures here that blatantly state that we are APPOINTED a time to die. To take one verse out of context to try to disprove what I said while ignoring the whole of scripture is silly. Shema Yisrael adonai eloheynu adonai echad.

I think good coil on plug plates come with 4 flat seals that go around the stud. My speed factory racing one came with the 4 flat grommets for the cop plate to sit on just like the factory valve cover gasket comes with 8 gromets, the coil pack plates should have 4 flat grommets with it. If you didn't have the grommets that's why the black plate didn't work, but I think the other plate was made not to use them. As long as it's sealed and not leaking you should be good.
