So awesome guys! I work with John Grollmus and was telling him how I was planning on going from Schweitzer to Lions Head this April and he turned me onto your video. Really well documented!

Great advice what do you think about jumping up to marathon distance from Half marathon , I recently did , I took 4 gels performed quite well, maintained energy and mental desire right til the end. Should I take 8 or more.

Thanks- good insight. I can smash through a 50k on 100 cal/hour, but that's bonk zone for a 50/100k. Need upward of 300/hour eating early.

Are you using aluminum-free baking powder in your baking? It's available you know, e.g. Argo brand. Dr. McDougall has pointed out that aluminum is found by autopsy of lesions found in the brain tissue of Alheimers victims. Hence, dietary aluminum...to be avoided...no known function for aluminum in humenks! just sayin'.

I have a tip for you. You don't have to bag the peeled bananas while in the freezer. They will not freezer-burn even though they are naked. Thus, you can save on labor of bagging/unbagging and take one small step for Mother Nature who avoids eventually dealing with that unnecessary plastic. Whaddya thimk? Have you crossed Dr. Bulsiewicz's path; he points out that some rural African have as many as 200 different vegies and leafy greens in their diet. How many can you count in Your diet. When I heard about this, I started buying produce I had always ignored at the grocery. It's all about a diverse constellation of fiber sources for your microbiome. I even put greens in my morning porridge now. It still tastes like dessert. But u r probly way ahead'a me.

This makes me happy to watch. I live about an hour away from Sandpoint so I visit there often in the summer months. Early last year my mom and I hiked Mickinnick. It was great going up but coming down her knees gave out and I couldn't carry her, so we had to ask a random stranger on the trail to carry her down. He was a really chill dude, so nice and willing to help out even though it was kind of awkward lol! It's winter right now, so watching this makes me feel really nostalgic about the summer months. I can't wait for summer so I can go back and hike it again (maybe without my mom next time though)! I'm also vegan, too, so it's great to see some local plant-based pals! :) Just subscribed to your channel, I love that you guys are sharing this little corner of the PNW with everyone. <3

@PlantPositiveFilms
@PlantPositiveFilms 3 жыл бұрын
@@HeyArnel I think 11m and 9m would cover most days, but if you are a beginner I definitely recommend taking lessons because kiteboarding can be extremely dangerous, especially on mountain lakes where the wind is super gusty...Hood River is the closest place to get lessons I think.

huge respects for doing work on Sea Shepherd! I feel ya about lake-side kiting, it's mega challenge ... it suck more often than it's not. But... with right equip. and right skills, it's still doable. Since you're in USA, i recommend checking out kites with Aluula material from Ocan Rodeo
