i’ve been watching all your videos in preparation for my study abroad in a few months. tyyyy so much for the videos! quick question, what form of finances did you use? do you think a octopus card and cash is enough to suffice?

Octopus card is the way to go most of the time. I had to bring cash or grab cash from the bank and exchanged it at currency exchange places. Theres a bunch of them but the rates will be different. Keep an eye out for places with good rates and just keep going there.

Based on my experience, no need for a meal plan. Coming from the US, HKU meals were really cheap. Plus you want to explore the city and try all kinds of restaurants out.
