Your spreading false information about slavery. The end of the transatlantic slave trade did not stop the trafficking of people or make slavery any “less harsh.” In fact, it led to the creation of an internal slave trade, which was equally brutal. The harshness and violence of slavery actually increased during the 1800s, driven by the rising price of cotton and the invention of the cotton gin, which made cotton production more profitable and its demand higher. Over one million people were sold from the Upper South and force-marched thousands of miles to the Deep South to open new states like Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. This period saw the emergence of “industrial slavery,” where enslaved people were worked harder and longer than ever before. Cotton production skyrocketed from 1.5 million pounds in the early 1800s to 2 BILLION pounds by 1861. This dramatic increase was achieved through the relentless pushing and punishing of enslaved people, who endured unimaginable hardships to meet the growing demand. www.amazon.com/s?k=the+half+has+never+been+told&adgrpid=57654351964&hvadid=713518813648&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9073503&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=1257430374158625198&hvtargid=kwd-299537748239&hydadcr=15145_13754933&tag=hydsma-20&ref=pd_sl_3wt0sz7x7l_e

😮Crying and looking for help!! I forgot to change my filter as l habe been away for months. I washed my hair with a dirty filter (mineral deposits were inside)& nowfound myself here. I have never had this happen!! Luckily, I have distilled water in my pantry just not the products. 4 inches off the back have already broken off, unbeknownst to me because l pin my hair up. I thought about probably having it cut into a bob. Thick healthy hair in layers in October 2024 , Nov 12th 2024 l washed my hair & now this 😩😩

im a male, I recently started using only distilled water to wash my hair, sometimes I add magnesium oil to it... distilled water gives me thick and heavy hair, and it feels really good to go through my hair with my hand, so smooth

I have dyed ends and I choosing not to cut/trim it because I want to grow out my dyed ends and not big chop. But I have extreme shedding I think it is anytime I go to combing out my hair. What do you think I should do or is the cause of this? Is it because of the dyed hair?

I moved to an area with super hard water and it sucks big time! Even a shower filter doesn't help as much.

Good tips. I had to eventually start back using aloe vera juice and glycerin together and spray it on my roots and massage it into my scalp. That worked for me for some reason.

So the theory that split ends travel up is a lie…I needed this because mine were worse than yours. I was using eco style gel and it left my hair in beautiful curls but it dried my hair and broke it, now I won’t cut it until it grows out

I’m 5 years late. In these past 5 years I’ve cut/trim my hair time and time again. The last time was last week and I regret it all. Especially this most recent one. My hair is so short and I already have single strand knots. I’m not dusting, trimming, or cutting anything anymore idc. If I have to I will but I won’t so yea.

I already wash my hair with distilled water, and it does not repair. im still in the struggle right not to get my hair to not look like a high-porosity, dull, frizzy, dry mess. but the biggest difference ive discovered so far, is sleeping with avocado oil in my hair overnight as a "pre-pooing" treatment. makes it feel far less frizzy without straightening it.

You should get the build up off of your hair using a chelating shampoo. I use Malibu hard water shampoo. Once the build up is off, only use distilled water. A water filter does not soften the water.

I don't even believe in trimming, especially when they have shampoo and what not that fixes split ends and the bad part is that I don't even have that many split ends growing my hair out this time around. However, my hair has been brittle due to my living conditions and I haven't known until recently through the internet and youtube (thanks to Trav White) that I could've just been using store bought coconut oil over the last 4 years of growing my hair. I'm gonna combine that with caffeinated coffee (thanks to what I heard from an associate and then later fact checking that associate through youtube) and hope for the best. Thanks for the reassurance on not trimming split end because I seen too many people on here and even some pages on the internet saying that you gotta trim your split ends or the hair won't grow. (Complete advertising bullsh!t)
