I saw this photoplay for the first time in a few years yesterday, and I still love it, probably even more so than when I was twelve. Although I am not blind, the story really resonates with me. Even though I am against remakes when done badly (The Little Mermaid, Lady And The Tramp, Ben-Hur [MMXVII], Psycho [MCMXCVIII], William Shakespeare's Romeo+Juliet, Romeo And Juliet [MMXII], anyone?), Quest For Camelot can be done again, either animated or live-action, this time with Gareth being shorter than Kayley, and more backstory for Kayley, and Gareth, and King Arthur.

I wish I had a romance like them!

I loved Quest for Camelot when I was a kid and now I can’t believe I have my own Garrett now. ❤❤ I am legally blind with usable vision and he is totally blind, so this song came full circle because I loved Kayley and Garrett’s romance so much and now I’m experiencing it for myself.

The tune to this song has been on my mind for years now I just couldn’t remember where it came from and now I do.

I still hear this song in my head ALL the time and I haven't seen the movie since I was a kid. I'm 30. That and the song she sings about being on her fathers wings, ugh this movie has stuck with me for so long. I love it.
