In Malaysia, we can only pick strawberries in Cameron Highlands, while in the UK, we can find them in many places, including the lowlands. That’s a breathtaking place to be. I wish I’m able to study and work over there. Cheers from your fellow Malaysian
Everything is so expensive, so why immigrate to UK? Better to work in Singapore and enjoy high income and cheap food as good as Malaysia.

Lol both of you sounds like newly migrated Hongkongers still missing Malaysian food. Am also a Malaysian rooted here for 2 decades and when I first came here my cravings died off less than a year. Big cities are not for us when we shifted ourselves so far and hard away from our homeland city. This might mean you all haven’t find a place wanting to be till old age. I spent 6 months in London and ran away to a village instead cause cannot stand it. Like moving myself from KL to another madness city but only greater. Every 5 years having to fly into London to the High Commission to renewal my passport is a much dreadful trip. This summer while visiting our families in New York a cab driver asked me, “Why don’t you buy properties here (NYC) for business since it will be closer to our families?”…..not willing to exchange for any havoc of life and on top buying property in NY, one have to work for it a life time but for us to buy where we are in is an affordability and within our comfort. While now we can look for a more secluded area for retirement. When you all have the chance to travel more and venture into more picturesque locations you all might find your dream place and find it more affordable. Our GP also never get to see us because we have been learning self diagnose and healing….so like play doctor ourselves very norm. Only mat salleh have so much time and brilliant tactics to get to the GPs. Before this recent school holidays our daughter fell and suspected she had a fracture. While I try to play doctor I was also on the phone with NHS111. Of course they have some urgency but at the same time not also because of her age that needs to be addressed off the situation. Finally after they finished “rolling the ball” we got a call an hour before the appointment given to bring her into the hospital….well although with much pain but at least in the comfort of home rather than in A&E for almost the same 4-5 hours and when we arrived to the hospital were out by 15 minutes including x ray taken but no proper diagnose as being a Sunday was only attended by nurse!…..wow then a letter came….for 2 weeks later….imagine….fracture……2 weeks after when she was attended by the bone specialist he decided wanting to cast her and I said no thanks, we will go on holistic, so comfrey oil. When I broke my wrist many years same old story also have to wait 4-5 hours. I wished that time I also can play doctor to myself but not getting much help from my husband and daughter so still have to endure in A&E! Go out from you comfort zone, you all are young, humans are more adaptable than you can imagine. Hold fast to your vision as off why you left Malaysia then you will realised missing those taste are least important. Good luck! Take great care!

To be fair, we also need to know how much the monthly income is versus the cost.

16:24 Parking on the right 然後Reserve two car lengths. 最難😅應該係個頭向後望,但係你隨時都係睇住前面嘅車(incoming)來倒後。一有前車就要停,唔可以只是🙀掛住望後面。
