Great video, first of all! People claiming that the 1st episode is bad are just TikTok brainrotted individuals whos opinion is worth about as much as a grain of sand. We got a lot of lore for Priestella, we got more worldbuilding and we established a main cast for the season. Ofc, Capella and Gluttony come later on, however, they did a reallllly good job getting us to Priestella and establishing the season. The episode was so good that I read up to chapter 33 in the Volume 17 web novel and from hereon out, the pace is going to be REALLY fast. People are also seemingly too stupid to realize that this is preferable. It was either a 90 min first episode focused on lore and worldbuilding ORRR it was spent 3-4 episodes focused on lore and worldbuilding. Now that the lore is established and the worldbuilding rounds out Priestella, the next 2-3 episodes (but realistically, likely the rest of the season) is going to go at a much quicker pace. All in all, people who don't care about lore, don't care about character development and don't care about worldbuilding are all disappointed because they falsely assumed that Re:ZERO is about the action scenes and that's not the case. People are so ignorant to the season and whats coming that they don't realize that their complaining and bitching is completely invalid because without this worldbuilding and lore dump of an episode, we would be REALLY confused later on. Re:ZERO is about the characters, not tons of action scenes. It would do people well to remember that before expressing their -10IQ takes.

@@mcpodcast2699 yeah fr! idk how much of the WN/LN you’ve read but Subaru’s checkpoint is only 15 minutes before Sirius’ speech. I don’t think people realize how much context is gonna be needed for the rest of it to make sense. Further, the next chapters have such a fast pace that people who are bitching about the pace might start to backtrack as they realize how much the dialogue n shit is important Peoples attention spans being so low is honestly wild. You can definitely tell who spends their time doomscrolling youtube shorts/tiktok 😂 if they can’t engage with a story long enough to appreciate the worldbuilding and lore, they can keep their brainrot opinions to themselves 🤷

If you’re a fan of the WEBTOON you’d know that this season is about uncovering what happened with Bam and him climbing the tower with average civilians of the tower compared to season one where he climbs with individuals that come from a more upscale form of life in the tower whether that be by training or lineage. I’d say give it a second because this season will cover a core aspect of what will be one of Bam’s many strengths on top of all the hacks he already has

for me the problem is the animation, I have seen roblox animations done better, storywise yes it needs time to ramp up but the animation is unbearable for me, as a manhwa fan also I just hate how they did anything past like 2-3 episodes, also look at karaka and mazino Lmao, those 2 should have had an epic intro but it was just a mid, althou Urek was not as bad

@@Console-l0ggertotally understand the art style to me was honestly better from season one but in season 2 I think they’re actually trying to mirror the art style of the WEBTOON which in comparison to season one is just completely different the fights and the environment of the tower need amazing animations and I believe that’ll be the determining factor if they continue animating TOG. I’d like to see all this stuff ironed out so we can get to some of the better parts of the story so far

She's definitely a waifu, she just has a poor concept of what a wife does. First episode alone, its made clear she doesn't just go looking for sex; she tries to have meaningful relationships. Her problem is she feels she has to go straight to sex because if she doesn't, the guy wont like her. So yeah, as it turns out, not every guy that asks her out wants to marry her.

Honestly I get where the artist is coming from. When you make a story you put time and effort into making the characters feel real and you grow attached to them so greatly that if someone takes their personality’s and completely switch them than they aren’t really your characters. In the episode it’s explained that the way the producer and artists were communicating was like a game of telephone. Meanings and intent get lost through the cracks to the point where the producer was getting vague input. So while I feel that the artist was getting a little carried away and should have handled that in a more professional manner, I get why she’s so upset. She understands how close they are to the opening show and she’s upset it took so long to actually meet the producer in person because of how far and out of hand everything had gotten by that point. Really they should have been able to be in direct contact with one another from the jump

I couldn’t disagree more with your comment on the Fairy Tail dub as I feel that some characters in the series sound better in the dub than in the sub. For instance, I feel Lucy Heartfilia sounded better in the dub than in the sub mainly because I like Cherami Leigh’s outgoing yet relatable sounding voice for the character.
