When Precious comes back it’s really gonna open up this offense
@jacoblocks2 күн бұрын
I look at him more to be a rangy defender and energy off the bench, both things the Knicks desperately need

The Clippers are gonna be a sorry team, but Harden has Zubac looking like a Top 7 center in the league
@jacoblocks13 күн бұрын
Yea they’ve looked way better than I expected so far, I knew the defense would be good but Harden, Zubac, and Norm have been carrying the offense
@keithsmith543518 күн бұрын
Coming from a Knicks fan, this was a surprisingly very accurate assessment of this Hawks roster. The only thing I might disagree with is their ceiling, I think that they could surprise a lot of people and finish as high as 6th seed, if all their new parts gel together and they finally find a defense, and Jalen Johnson continues the improvement we have seen from year to year. I agree that the floor is out of the playoffs altogether. And the expectation is probably a playin team of 8th or 9th seed.
@jacoblocks18 күн бұрын
I try to be as unbiased as possible lol, in a perfect world I can maybe see the Hawks being higher but it’d be hard for me to put them over teams like the Magic, Heat, Pacers, or Cavs

Curious who you’d have as a dark horse for DPOY. If GS has a top 5 defense can Draymond get back in the conversation despite his age?
@jacoblocks18 күн бұрын
He for sure has the impact *if* GS has a top defense but idk if they will. Other guys I thought about were OG Anunoby, Chet Holmgren, and Herb Jones if the Pel’s small ball works
Awesome series my man! I know how much time it takes to edit a series of videos in time before the season starts when I did my top 50 list a few seasons back, so huge props to you for getting it all done! Glad that I was a part of the series full of some awesome guests and can’t wait for the season to start!!! 💯

Fair assessment for both sides. I would have traded KAT for a point guard if I was the Wolves. I would have traded Randle for a rim protector if I was the Knicks. Neither side got what they really needed but will be fun to watch nevertheless

Best off-season move for memphis was acquiring Toumas Lisalo as new assistant. Major flaw for the grizz is half court offense, and he is being expected to fix it. Look him up.

So ready for next season. Most Grizzlies are going to be be better than you've ever seen them. Marcus Smart said in an interview, last season sucked, but he had no idea the toll of being in back to back playoffs had on his body. Everyone has time to develop with a huge chip on their shoulders

In a long run GTJ is a winner. He's a starter and the 5th option on tne contender team the BUCKS. He fits very well with starters and he'll gain self-confidence that he lost it playing in Toronto 👍🔥🔥

I have the Raptors at 29 wins this season. I expect them to be in the #6-8 range going into the lottery. From there, anything can happen. If they get into the play-in, heads should roll in the FO. This season is all about the Big Picture. That involves leaning into the tank. Trading expiring assets and Poetl by the deadline should help with that.
@atomic5586Ай бұрын

I don't think Raptors had any interst in paying GTJ, even at league minimum. Masai has consistently left him out of future plans discussions. Despite his professionalism in his approach, he's incredibly 1-dimensional and hasn't developped at all in a Raptor uniform. There's essentially no reason to give him a roster spot on adevelopment team with young versatile shooters like Gradey and Ja'Kobe. Thanks for the content!

Honestly had to check to see if you were a Raptors KZbinr or NBA in general because your analysis is quite good. If I watched NBA content I'd subscribe but I only watch Raptors stuff. Wish you well though, great insight.

Middleton is a huge hole in any defensive plan. Add his inability to handle the ball, his slow transition (both ends), lack of any rebounding ability, his unathletic body and his injury background and you'll find his shooting (which is not getting any better) way less appealing. He should have been traded two years ago.

I definitely don’t expect it, but I’ll be interested to see if taking a backseat to Fox and playing off Sabonis will allow DeMar to save more energy for defense and make more of an impact on that end. He’s athletic and long, I feel like he could at least not be a negative
