@@Ace1000ks Oh, I played it. It's average at best. But, as far as "1990's adaptations of media to games," it's one of the better ones.

Depends on how you gauge it. I live in California. Back in 1987, one gallon of gasoline was $0.65, and today it costs $4.25. If you gauge it this way then $10 in 1987 would be equivalent to $6.53 today. $10 in 1987 is $65.38 today.

@Overonator A steak and lobster dinner at Sizzler cost about $5.99 in 1987. How much does that cost now? I went to a seafood restaurant with my friend about a week ago, and it cost me $90 for two people. This isn't including tip which was $22. The whole dinner cost $121 with tax and the tip. That is real inflation. The numbers you are getting is inflation that excluded food and energy. When I went to Disneyland in 1985, it cost about $17, and today it costs $105. I took .you nephew there last year.

@@Ace1000ks But the costs can go up even without inflation. You have to separate inflation from companies hiking the price on the pricing strategy they call "how much can the market bare."

@@Overonator The world is awash with dollars ever since 1971, and this is why a price of an average home in 1971 was $35k. Today, the exact same home costs $550k. My parents bought their home in 1983 for $120k, and it is worth $950k today. You have Wall Street firms that have unlimited amounts of capital to buy up all the real estate they want, or pump up any asset. If they have any issues, they will get bailed out by the government, like you saw in 2008.

The game wasn't programmed well. I never bought this game, I rented it from Blockbuster video. I rented a lot of games from there.

You can download Retroarch directly from Retroarch's website, and install it on Windows 10 or 11. I don't know what Destructor is, and I had never tried running that game. I don't know if that will be playable or not.

Any ATX power supply should work, but getting it to fit on a Dell Optiplex 380 is going to be a problem.

The Asus Z97-Pro and Asus H97-Pro are similar. This upgrade plan would work on a Asus H97-Pro. Next year around October 14, 2025, Windows 10 will no longer be supported, you could get one more year of support if you pay $30 to Microsoft to get one more year of support. If you are okay with paying $30 more, you should be good until October 14, 2026. It's that, or get a new computer, like I did this year.

@TrinomCZ The speed depends on the quality, so on draft it is very fast. If you want higher quality prints it prints really slow. I can't remember how fast this thing printed back in 1990, but it took more than a minute to print a page.

@TrinomCZ Using a modern word processor and a word processor from the 1990s isn't the same, they have different resolutions.

@@Ace1000ks That's true, however most of the dot matrix printers were able to print in both directions even at reasonably high quality. I may try my Epson LQ-300+II. I have one laying around...

@@TrinomCZ The Epson LQ-300+II is newer than the Citizen GSX-140. I got this printer in 1989, so this is 35 years old.
