that's my favorite thing about him,he's in between everything, he has a unique perspective into multiple sides,not fully being in either...i understand that all too well,because i score just several points short of officially being a type one psychopath, test has total of 40 points,30 to qualify, I'm in the 20,s,average is 2-8.....suffice to say,my mindset and temperament are very different from most and my opinions and ways of doing things differs greatly from others, i have many tendencies which even without trying or wanting i kinda end up lying and manipulating people for my benefit. but I'm better than i used to be in my teens and early twenties...yikes...i was...awful,did so much to so many...so much taken,lost,relationships made and broken,families torn apart.....i used to really screw with people and make them change how they live...it's surprisingly easy...which is why i had to teach myself restraint and not forcefully move people and reality around me. too much...

i'm glad i'm not the only one who found him terrifying. not just about how ungodfully powerful he is, but his personality in juxtaposition of it. on surface level he may come off as goofy/humorous with his slow speech and general scatterbrained way of doing things. however the fact its not a cover/mean of letting your guard down no its literally how he is as he brutally/ruthlessly slays his enemy's with little to no effort and showing absolutely no mercy while he does it. it also fits the theme the admirals have going on Aokiji uses Ice Devil fruit but is warm hearted Akainu uses lava Devil fruit but is cold hearted Kizaru uses Light Devil fruit but has a heart of darkness.

A line I once heard can fit Kizaru the best. The brightest light casts the darkest shadow

It does seem like he tries to give people a chance to escape. That’s what it seemed like in sabaody , and also what happened in egghead. Luffy knocks him straight down and I believe it’s Saturn that orders him to chase and kill Vegapunk. But he lays there and replied “I would if I could but I can’t stand up” and it makes me think okay yeah he got punched by gear fifth luffy but would it really be enough to incapacitate him ? I don’t think so

This video has been debunked completely with the new arc sadly. He's more of a family guy who simply has to do work he doesnt wanna do sometimes for his own reasons. He has his personality and isn't devoid of emotions. The fact that he thinks he's a "cog in the machine" is simply cope to force himself to do what he has to do. The one admiral who seems more like a sociopath would be Ryokugyu, not Borsalino.
