As long as you like your food enjoy but Turkey gets dry fast because its a dense lean meat so it need to be in a pot and basted every half hour for the last two hours until fall off the bone at 450 a Turkey that size any ware from 4 to 6 hours on a vegetable rack in pot best vegetable are onions potatoes pepers and lots of garlic the potatoes need moisture so be generous with the onion like two to three and the garlic two whole cloves as a base then one whole clove also pealed to stuff in the slits in breast a legs legs get dry fast so basted it well with long spoon or what ever is easiest ...Turkey stew is also an option but you will have to cut the Turkey in sections and that size can make two big pots of stew and when making anying with meat tomatoes makes meat hard if left too long unless you put it the last five to 10 mins while you ajust the flavor cut out the steam from the tomato before adding it there are different ways of cutting veg for limited waste but if you feed your animals any of the throw away vegetables parts show that people will like the lack of waste ...like if you have goats or pigs they both eat almost anything you feed them just
