Dear Sir/Madam In reference to the above I am writing to complain about L&Q Housing association and the way they have handled my late Aunt's property. I am also appalled at the conditions that L&Q Tenants are living in; Regardless of complaints and emails L&Q reply with indifferent emails. My Aunt was a 2 time cancer survivor and a long term resident at Alderney street swiv4he, During this time, they had access to her property and removed personal possessions from her flat I do not believe my Aunty fell and I am disgusted by L&Q refusing to give me the Inventory of my Aunts property, they have instead asked me to apply for " Letters of Administration" as proof of my identity. I have also inquired who handed in my Aunts house keys to L&Q as she was left in a Morgue for one year. L&Q have asked me to refer to their Legal team, however, I am not entirely sure as to how their legal team can explain my Aunts fall, her bank account being used by Fraudsters and how a vulnerable loyal tenant was ignored. I am also quite sure they did not bother to ask the fraudster what he was doing and to give proof of his identification. I have joined an L&Q Complaints page on Facebook and it is alarming to see the conditions people are living in; there are no management or HSE concerns and all emails get the same indifferent reply. I strongly recommend you have a look at this Facebook page and the photos of the houses, there is disrepair leaking pipes and damp walls. Tenants are living in abysmal conditions, damp and mouldy houses. Leaking pipes and suffering from Health Issues. .In my opinion, rather than keep buying and creating more houses, L&Q need to first rectify and fix the damaged properties that many of their tenants are forced to endure. Also, Social Housing Landlords need to be scrutinized before being allowed to keep building sub standard accomodation. Where are the Landlords???? They are possibly one of the worst Social Housing Associations in the UK, putting people's well being and health at risk. I was told that The Ombudsman Organization take these matters very seriously and I am therefore writing for assistance .I have no qualms whatsoever asking my legal team to investigate this matter , as I want justice and answers for my Aunty, also, I would hate this to happen to any other L&Q Tenants.
