Doesn't have ABS? somehow generations survived without it. Keep a safe difference and no problems.
@starletnights18 күн бұрын
In normal conditions it is not a problem, but speed+rain+busy road makes it kinda unpredictable. The ABS was actually the main reason the late EP91 Glanza beat the EP82 GT on the track 😉
@WTCHME7 күн бұрын
@@starletnights1Yeah I agree with you, especially on Australian freeways where people are crazy, everyone’s tailgating, it’s best to have ABS and stability control these days. That and there’s no crash structure in a starlet, if you get hit over 50kmh you might not live.

I just did this mod to my EP81 starlet but it should be the same for 80 or 82 starlets. For those interested you can use Toyota paseo sway bar parts: Bolt front Stabilizer, Toyota 48819-10010 (2x) Bracket front stabilizer, Toyota 48824-20040 (2x) Nut, Toyota 94182-10800 (4x) (or 8x*) Retainers for cushion, Toyota 90948-02032 (8x) Front Stabilizer cushion,Toyota 48817-10020 (8x) Bolt, Toyota 91611-60822 (4x) Toyota 91612-B0822 (4x) *I couldn't find these but the 94182-10800 nuts above also fit you just have to supply your own washers Hopefully this helps someone :)

Saw the traffic lights thumbnail and was “hang on, I think I DO know that place!” Clicked on it and Bingo! 10km from where family lives. Went there first time about 3mths ago too. I’m certain I saw your car. A very distinctive blue number 39 and a Renault fan (grew up Belgium with 205s and Clios), but it wasn’t very hot day…..have you been other times more recently? Anyway was just spectating. There was a monster Audi that got best time in all sessions as far as I can remember. FYI all: it’s much steeper up AND down than GoPro’s make it look and occasionally they’ll make it a two-lap timed event.
