Hibiki i've always found to be such a beautiful character. I am looking forward to mastering her execution in this upcoming re-release.

N groove Nakoruru absolutely never has to stop attacking, it's always her turn. Her & N groove Morrigan are sick nasty pressure characters with best-in-game rush down options.

All of Ken's normal "crazy kicks" are roll cancel-capable, meaning he has one of the largest (if not the largest) collection of roll cancel normal move options that don't expose him to anything.

The shotos might not have been top tier, but they were really good in N Groove for some reason 😂

Hibiki and Rolento are quietly overpowered in very much the same, strange way: if they have a life lead & feel like being elusive? You'll spend a lot of time off the clock chasing them down, they're not engaging & punishing any mistakes for free. On a 3 character team, they can be very hard to get past as a middle character, especially if you lose to the first character. They both perform well in A groove, but have such long-range alpha counters (C groove) that they can punish many more things with alpha counter than most other characters; like mid-range projectiles.

But i have one question: i dont understand the capital letters. i mean, i know lp - low punch, but what does QCB means? Im not at expert in fighting games at all but im willing to learn and i already know some basics things like lp, or the numeral notation, but i never see something like QCB before.

This game has so much depth and was so well done, it was ahead of its time really. You can see why it took so long to catch on competitively and how the meta has shifted over time. In a similar way 3S kind of had the same thing too, and it's one of my favorite FGs of all time, but the depth in Cvs2 with the groove system and its roster is unparalleled. Love this game. Great job on this guide/breakdown of Hibiki, hope you are able to still find time to do stuff like this all these years later.

how does this glitch even work? when i do clmk xx 22lpmphp in that combo it just drains my meter to 0

I read on Gamefaqs (Nakoruru Guide by ESouthCroix) that an Ana Mitsube can hit the opponent right after a throw with the right timing. The FAQ author said you have to wait for a split second after throwing and then do an Ana Mitsube. Apparently, the timing is very strict. I've tried so many times, but have never done it even once. I'm not even sure which throw the FAQ is referring to. Can anyone confirm that it is possible?
