The four to the floor sounds reminiscent of Erroll Garner's accompaniment style. Everyone forgets that Erroll wasn't JUST the composer of Misty. His left hand sounded like a guitar--which is odd, considering how many guitarists are envious of pianists (me included). Erroll used that four to the floor with skip beat and made the piano sound like a rhythm machine! The album "Plays Gershwin and Kern" comes to mind for that four to the floor ala Freddie Green style.

With the pandemic I've only managed to get out skiing once this february, my girlfriend and I got out to Glen Eden. Some long line ups since it was just at the end of a full lockdown - but was grateful to be able to get on the skis at all! How are things with you?? I understand you had a kid a lil while back. Hows Greece and the family??
