Please Help me. I have a Circuit Tracks Connected to the RC 505. It's connected via Inst.1. Can I somehow bypass the loop recording for the Circuit tracks? Since it is its own sequencer. Basically I'm looking for a Line In function that doesn't get recorded by the 505. I just want the sound to go through
@ZharynMusic4 күн бұрын
I don't work too much with extra instruments, but this should be possible: Go to Loop -> TRK1 -> last page. There you can find switches for what inputs you want to have recorded. So in your case, switching one of the two instrument inputs to off (and repeating this for all 5 tracks) should do the trick. Feel free to let me know if this helps or not

I recently bought my loopstation, and your videos helped me a lot 🥂. Can you also explain every basic things like the Use of track button , mid low high gain, rate ( can’t understand any symbols)…
@ZharynMusic9 күн бұрын
Glad to help, hope you're having fun with your loopstation! Pressing the track buttons gets you into the loop menu for the corresponding track, but you can also re-assign their function to something else (see kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqDIi4ispK5lmJIsi=OClpu9Z_D89BimGD for more details). In terms of rate and gain, it kinda depends on the effect, but gain usually adjusts volume and rate usually adjusts the speed of an effect/sequencer

Your videos are very interesting! My question is, what update do you have on your MK2? Because some things you show, I don't have on mine and I think it depends on the firmware. The first LOOPstation I had stopped working after I updated it, so now I don't update it anymore.

Thanks! I currently have version 1.30 installed. I know that a few things, like changing the colour of the recording buttons (from my other Settings video), got added fairly recently. As for the settings of this video I'm not sure, that probably depends on what version you have 🤔

@VirtualModularАй бұрын
I know how a flanger works, but had no idea you could do this on a loop station, this is really imaginative! PS. Creating tones using short delays and high feedback is called Karplus-Strong synthesis. If you've ever looked at any Eurorack modular stuff, there's a famous module called Rings, which does exactly this, it's a tuned resonator. I make stuff like this from scratch using modular software called VCV Rack, which is great for experimental effects but it's nice to see other people doing something different too. 👍
@ZharynMusicАй бұрын
Thanks! I love sound designing creatively. I don't have too much experience with this kind of synthesis outside of the loop station, but the module you mentioned sounds interesting, I'll look into it 👍

can u somehow make for example sine and saw go together in one bank effect without putting it one at a time on seperate track??
@ZharynMusicАй бұрын
If I understand you correctly, that should be pretty simple, because the saw wave is basically a sine wave with a Synth effect on top. So you could use: GNR Delay, LPF, Synth, Pitch Bend and depending on if you need Sine or Saw either turn the Synth effect on or off.

Can you double-check if all 3 bounce settings are really activated? Maybe try activating everything there is first (so 1. "Bounce Sw" up in Loop-Rec, 2. All "Bounce Track" switches up in Loop-Rec, 3. "Bounce In" activated in each Loop-Track menu). If it still doesn't work then, let me know
