as someone who struggles with anxiety, I feel like no animated movie I’ve seen has perfectly captured what it actually feels like internally besides this scene. It wasn’t intentional compared to modern movies but it’s astounding. whether you understand and know nothings there or not, there’s a part of your brain that creates vivid images and experiences that overlap with reality itself. What Snow White goes through in this scene I think perfectly shows visually that overlapping. It perfectly shows what someone with anxiety goes through mentally during their spirals downward or during panic attacks. Besides Puss in Boots; The Last Wish, I don’t think any movie or scene in modern film will ever capture this better than this scene.

For those being completely frightened for what snow white has pass trough is that she was hallucinating, you see once scared for your life so much you start see everything hostile, oppresive and agressive and you totally lose your mind, girls often than boys beacuse girls know they are more vulnerable, snow white had that sense to, she was scared beacuse she now knew wicked queen is out there to end her, and she stated seeing things scary, but Untill she fainted she saw that forest was actually friendly, animals exactly know that humans are far scared of that than animals of them, when her hallucinations were over, she was calm and saw forest magically beautiful
