Hey Uncle Mark Great stuff - there is magic vibe in your version, absolutely love it. Is there any chance you could arrange Lightnin "Mojo Hand"? I'm trying to figur out famous Lightnin lick&riff (ones between 0:50 and 1:15 in this version kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppjTaGeKf7-DgdE). Perhaps one day you can play it on cigar box guitar? Thanks in advance Tom

Happy birthday Uncle Mark. I feel a bit funny calling you unk cause I'm nearly 69, later this month too! I remember when I was in college my girl friend (now my wife of long standing) had to learn to sign and sing a song for her American sign language class. She picked this song, and I was her test/practice audience. I still know the words. Back then while I knew, theoretically I could someday be 64, it was so far in the future it felt that it could never happen. However, time marches on. However, partly due to your lessons I have at least gotten a good start on something I wanted to do back then, which is play a guitar. The three string cigar box guitars and you tube lessons have brought basic playing to me. I have even restrung a six string acoustic to 3 strings, and been able to play the same songs on it. Anyhow, thanks for your vids, and happy birthday!

@stevecooper607625 күн бұрын
@@unclemarkscigarboxguitarlesson…Mark, I’ve checked out a lot the “competition”, you are by far the best where instruction is concerned. The fact that you preface your lessons with a rundown on the chords, give a demo of the song, show and explain the notes being used places you as a better teacher. Also your song selection is varied enough, from swampy blues to folk to classic rock. A lot of the other guys only give lessons on the genre they play whereas you keep them varied. It’s what kept me coming back to your page.
@unclemarkscigarboxguitarlesson25 күн бұрын
@@stevecooper6076 I’ll try to pick it back up. I play a lot of 3 string, I’ve kinda been on a holiday from it. Thanks for the kind words. Also, I’m really enjoying my ukulele and surf tunes. It’s been keeping me sane these past months.
