One of the loveliest love songs ever and sung by two beautiful gay women lovely duet

What a train wreck. I don't know if it's just the translation of the video to my phone lagging or something, but they did not seem to be in sync. K.D. was coming in later than Melissa on just about everything and you could barely hear K.D. I'm wondering if Melissa had them turn her volume up because K.D. was all drunk singing. She just really seems out of it. This video disappointed me, especially since I think if they both gave a good performance where they were actually in sync and sober, it would probably be spectacular. But this was not that.

As if I didn't love k.d. enough, she goes and FLAWLESSLY harmonizes to such as idiosyncratic singer as Melissa. I swear, the woman never ceases to blow me away. Also, totally have to learn this song now.

Even though the audience almost ruins this song, the ladies still sound AMAZING together! Favorite Melissa Etheridge song, hands down

All I can say is the amazing way that Lang and Etheridge interact. Can only wish I was female and gay.

I don't speak or read Greek. I've loved Kazantzakis both in book and film. I have danced and danced to Zorba's Dance and thrown my glasses to the wall. And now I don't particularly care whether one or other or both is gay, Regardless of their sexual identity, they have taken command of the performance. God bless.

I love melissa etheridge. From the moment i heard her debut album i was hooked. I love the raw throated vocals to even her sometimes heartbreak soaked lyrics she is a woman of strength.This song is one of her top hits in my opinion. good looking woman too. you'd think i had a crush on her..lol.

You could have had a crush on her, like I did on KD. They have got so much going on beyond the normal hanky-panky,

did Melissa turn off kd's mike?

You really think KD wouldn't have been on top of such an occurrence? Do you think she's simply a Canadian prairie simpleton?

What happened after Melissa'd found out about the affair? Did she just forgive??? Did the affair happen before this concert?
@debpurdon195411 жыл бұрын
This must have happened AFTER K.D, slept with Julie while she was still was with Melissa! Or Melissa is just incredibly forgiving? Yes, I read the book!
@seldrinar473911 жыл бұрын
When was this taken? I just read that Melissa's partner Julie Cypher had an affair with K.D.Lang- did that put a dent on Melissa and K.D.'s friendship?
@kmquick286 жыл бұрын
From what I've read, Julie told Melissa she was attracted to kd. Melissa is the one that set it up. You can't get more approving than that. I don't think she liked it, and I think 'Bring Me Some Water' is a song about the whole thing, but Melissa was smart enough to know that the longing and the wonder will rip things apart.

Nothing prevents you from doing so, beyond your own hangups. You can't be busted for wearing pajammies in public, at least as far as I know.

Great voices each, but don't really fit together if you just listen...kind of too dramatic and over the top. k.d. looks hot in her pyjamas, tho.
