Wonderful interview. I just interviewed Rab for my forthcoming book on the history of Tittenhurst Park. He recorded his album RESTLESS there in 1978. Barbara provided wonderful background vocals.

this song is especially humbling because Billy connelly wrote it himself and this version with the inimitable Barbara dickson is sublime and perfect

Warm and Delightful, spot on. I saw the Barbara Dickson programme on BBC Alba a few months back. It was a lovely tribute and this duet was the icing on the cake (for me). I came looking for it on You Tube and it was there. Thanks for putting it up there. Hopefully I'll be able to buy it somewhere (to have forever) but this clip is all the richer for Billy Connolly's 'backstory' about the girl friends mother and the clouds. Absolutely Charming.
