What's to stop people from selling their newly found cell services to others?
@coondogtheman Жыл бұрын
I'm curious about this but instead of LTE how about a private use 1X (CDMA) or the voice and low bandwidth data used by older cell phones. I'd like to connect older cell phones to it privately and then transfer stuff onto and off the phones. And before you say just plug into the USB I tried that on many of the phones and they wouldn't connect and there are no memory cards in any of the phones.
@AidanMacgregor-Personal10 ай бұрын
the issue is none of the radios in your older phones will be able to connect to any Unlicenced spectrum as they generally only supported a few select bands
@coondogtheman10 ай бұрын
@@AidanMacgregor-Personal Isnt there a way to get something that can connect two older phones or a device connected to a pc that uses those bands. Just want to move stuff to and from the phones and the USB doesnt seem to work on any of them except for charging. It's like its blocked.
@AidanMacgregor-Personal10 ай бұрын
@@coondogtheman what phones specifically, USB may be serial cable based (so won't just ug and play like a usb drive) and what are you trying to get off the devices?
@coondogtheman10 ай бұрын
@@AidanMacgregor-Personal Two flip phones. A LG 231C and a Casio Gz one type S. Both use the 1X CDMA network only and they shut those networks off. What I'd like to do is get files on and off of them mostly pictures and audio.

Everyone I spoke to so far has turn me down in learning how to build my own private lte network. Without crazy fees and licenses. That is not including the equipment cost starting at $5000 US so for a total of $15 thousand I can get started. Can you help me out to set one up?
