What marker were you actually applying the ink to the paper with? You never really explained that.

Most of us have been drawing flowers since pre-school, but with adult terror, we face making so simple a subject terrifying, seeking the "gold star" or perfection, to no avail! This helpful video encourages relaxing, drawing without a set script of "how to draw a perfect flower" when capturing nature. I agree, for future reference, drawing with the camera behind the artist's shoulder, so the drawing is "right side up" for those of us who are unable to think "upside-down", PLEASE! Otherwise, the video suggests a great method of mixing colors using Tombow (or, other watercolor markers)!

This is one of the oldest videos I found, but this is by far the best beginner loom video out there in my opinion. I just wanted a basic easy stitch. Some beginner videos make it so complicated for ones like me with absolutely no skill. What's a slip knot..haha..I agree, the simplicity of the "P" and "6" made it click, and it also let me hold my loom and add yarn in an upward and downward motion. My lines are finally looking straight. If it doesn't turn out its not your fault :) Trying to work on the tension being even! Thank you!

Hi Mam one small request I just wanted to know if I can make a tea coaster with this long loom
@HillaryCraig3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I think you absolutely could. I would use a stiffer yarn and you would just shorten the size of your project. You may only need 6-8 pegs depending on the desired size. Good luck on your project. I'd love to hear how it turns out!

Well, I attempted your method, which I like but unfortunately my end result was a curled scarf.. This method was new to me as I didn't know that you could use the single row to knit a scarf, thank you for teaching me something I didn't know!
@HillaryCraig3 жыл бұрын
Glad you learned something new. The double row will curl less but this a great project to learn the basic idea of the loom. Thanks for the feedback.

After several videos and being quite frustrated, I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of this first time project. The P's and the 6's and also explaining having the straight line in the back. You are a wonderful teacher!
