Reading and writing "Cursive" is a necessary part of Traditional American Education and Culture. The Founding Documents and historic writings (From the Declaration of Independence, to the Constitution, to old correspondences for everything from farming equipment requisitions to military orders) are all written in "Cursive" (more appropriately called "English Roundhand and Engrossing" styles). It's an important part of being an American (beyond an elementary school kid creating his first personalized signature), not only because it makes a connection to our past, but also so Americans retain the ability to read the ACTUAL founding and historic documents, preventing Evil people from being able to invent false history and corrupt America. For example, a typical method today is to falsely claim that the US Constitution does or does not protect certain inalienable rights - yet these frauds and historic deceptions are swallowed whole by many people because they haven't read the ACTUAL Constitution and literally are not American...if you literally placed the Constitution in front of them, they wouldn't know how to read the "Cursive" of Jacob Shallus (Calligrapher/Scribe who wrote the Consitution) - and they probably wouldn't care. Bottom line, there are a lot of ways you can tell a Real American from a Faux American; one method is simply asking them to write something in Cursive.

Nice video, thank you for talking. It bugs me no end when people make videos and put in whatever music they like and do not talk. Anyway, I consider those cubed potatoes, not hash browns, but I think either would work well. I have been using fresh garlic recently, so I would put a clove or two in with the potatoes. Scrambled sausage would go in well too. But I could go on and on as to what would go well in it. Thanks for the recipe, it got a thumb up from me.
@FlourandfiligreeАй бұрын
@@tubenutt thanks for checking out the recipe! Garlic and sausage would make amazing additions to the casserole! Maybe those potatoes are not called hashbrowns outside of Canada. Either way I bet it would be great with many types of potatoes! Thanks for the great suggestions!

Like driving , you have to teach manual stick car before automatic. Same writing first cursive then print. People who drive automatic car never learn to drive manual stick car properly.
@FlourandfiligreeАй бұрын
@@paolamunoz1833 I agree, people should be taught both ways. It is a really useful skill! Thanks!

In center and South America they teach first cursive then in 4th grade print. To do it the other way is more difficult for the kids to develop the hand muscles. By 4th grade everyone is used to it and everyone use it. Print writing is much slower ,not common to use,the majority write cursive...
