I understand where you're coming from. Relationships in stories can be complex, and it's important to feel like they've been properly developed. Dude if anything it was too overdeveloped and they should’ve had them together earlier instead of stretching the story out and adding petty arguments and moments in just to make the story better lmao, I don’t get how people genuinely believe that it was undeveloped it was some of the most developed shit in the show besides Zukos arc. And still even at the end this is them literally starting a relationship, not marrying each other…it doesn’t take much to start a relationship…and if you wanna see them in love love then go read the comics or wait for the movie coming out in 2026 which will most likely have their wedding. While I know the final kiss was a very passionate one, it is probably them letting up all their feelings that have been pint up pretty much every episode from The Cave on that we’re not able to be let out or shown to each other because they were always on the run and like katara said “had bigger things to worry about” this was still only the start of their relationship.
