I know I’m going to ruffles some feathers, however I don’t consider AIC Grunge. I know it all comes down to semantics, but IMHO they are metal. I guess to me where the are from is irrelevant. I’m a metal head til the end, AIC is legendary!!! RIP Layne!!!

Its screwed up how he ends up on that same stage , years later after rehab in Mad Season, singing his soul out about his addiction and how he is screaming out to God for a sunny day. His pain gave us the greatest music of many generations, easily my favorite singer . See you in Heaven brother RIP Layne and Mike !
