Much better resolution than the american CCD-VX 1&3. I would love a working PAL sony cam, can't decide between V6000, VX1-E or TR808 (the 808 is a TR805E with a black shell instead of gray)

@WhakamescopeАй бұрын
horizontal resolution is equal between pal and ntsc. there's a bit more of definition in pal, but that's not what make a huge difference, so don't worry. but the playback device used may improve if there's a sharpness adjustment for exemple, or even be done in software...

@salvatorev_9 ай бұрын
the first time I came into contact with the camera I did several hours it was very tiring there are quite a lot of cables during assembly you have to know where each goes so I numbered them in the order they go in, with time you get used to it so now it will take me at least 10 minutes to do it Assembling, what I notice after fully repairing the camera when I tested the image quality is that it is not worth it as much as a VX1/VX3 3CCD camera which is ten times better than V5000-V6000

The board may have been corroded by the leaks of bad capacitors from the past unfortunately the cameras even after cleaning the boards and changing the capacitors will not work fully again and the reason is that the leakage has progressed to the board, another reason is bad connections on the boards, it may be necessary to change the capacitors in the dc converter another reason is that the cassette deck has blocked something inside the mechanism is broken or even needs grease on the gears

@@CycloneCordVHS unfortunately it's not only the capacitors that break in the cameras, you know the rest of the components break from the leakage of the capacitors that spills onto the board, a short circuit can even happen and the camera catches fire, 6 years ago I bought a Sony CCD camera FX500e and when I plugged it in the camera turned on and started making smoke until it turned off and wouldn't turn on again this is because the camera had a large capacitor leak on the board and it short circuited and caught fire
