Are you spraying your swatches with hair spray or how are you preserving them to use later?
@TooMuchTashКүн бұрын
I put them in ziploc bags for now, using hairspray is such a good idea! ❤️

I LOVE that lavender fenty powder.. it’s a winter staple for me! Glad to hear the face bond foundation is good, I just got it on sale!

this video made me realize i could use my laura mercier shadow stick that creases on my oily eyelids as a highlighter on my face or a inner corner highlight. i just love that you often make me see things diffrently. try the lip stain as a longwear lip liner i do that and its so good. loved seeing a video from you after my polish class, my aunt to be is polish and she is teaching me so i can finally learn another language. hope your weekend are great, and have a nice day. love ya

Am I the only one that keeps these things one forever? I am always afraid the mirror will be dirty! However its super satisfying sounding!

I enjoy the sound of palettes closing. This was a very soothing video.

This was satisfying, but also kinda sad. Those mirrors are never going to be that clean again. The ND I Need a Nude made a really good sound.
@mimionthecatwalk97113 күн бұрын
Those mirrors are never going to be that clean again, but then again it's such a waste of resources to put a mirrow in a palette for such a small percentage of people to actually use it. It's also interesting to me how older women like my mom who is 75 can't imagine having a blush without a small mirrow and a brush included in it while nowadays mirrors are mostly there to beautify the packaging.

I don’t know if I’ve ever removed the film from a palette. I always use my own mirror and never look at the one in the palette.

Food for thought: what is the monetary value of your time? If an hour of your time is worth $20 and it takes you 30 minutes to do your makeup, the cost per full face is actually $10+materials (so $12-$27). So if you discover a couple high end products that save you 6 minutes in your overall routine, maybe your material cost goes up by $1, but your labor cost is reduced by $2.

Love this video idea and it’s deep determination to track all those uses so thoroughly! You know what would also be interesting to see? How the cost for a full face of Makeup evolved over time - because of inflation and brands just raising their prices I’d find it very interesting to see how much it would have cost like in 2018/2020 vs now. Because I think you said you’ve mapped all the price tags for the price now, right? This would probably be A LOT of work, but it just came to my mind 😅🫶🏽✨

Super fun idea! A while back I arm swatched all my lip products (definitely multiple photos needed) it helps seeing how colours look on you or even in this format to convince myself to try to shop my stash more and be more aware of areas where I already have plenty of a certain colour
