Such a great song. I came to love The Who through Tommy, and discovered this catalog of tunes like this one. Then there was The Jam. Paul Weller is stellar because he was such a fan, one who gave his own signature to the music. Listen to "Girl on the Phone," Incredible.

Was hoping this was pre craddock, but it seems not, I see him stinking up stage left. Weller doesnt need a second guitarist.

what great songwriting. I'm amazed at how criminally unnoticed Big Country has gone as far as songwriting goes. Most people don't know much beyond "In A Big Country" and that's a shame!!!! I'm so unfortunate to never have gotten the opportunity to see them live! I'm thankful to have all this great footage to cherish over the years now!

The fun of exploring on YouTUbe. Never heard of them until a year ago. Found over 10 songs from Paul Weller and from his bands and solo stuff I know I will listen too for a long time to come.

When I was younger I always thought violinist were miserable but every time you see a collaboration like this they are the happiest people on stage - freedom to ply what they want !!! - and not just the classics !!

I'm watching this in the middle of Kansas in the USA in 2024. It's crazy. I had to drive to a music store with an import section to buy this music. I lived in California at the time. Now I can watch the old LIVE TV performances that were just TV at the time. Tea's Ok, I hate the royals, but the Music; 60's - 80's and into the 90's (at least). So many great sounds.
