I learned, though briefly, about him in H.S. history in the late 60s but not later in college. My high school was in Kansas. My college was in Texas. I think it is true that people learned more history (and geography) before the 70s but the educational choices in each state might also make a difference. I also loved history and remember most of what I learned.

Huey Long was murdered because he had enough power to defeat Roosevelt. Huey Long would have spared America a lot of problems. I am glad I watched all of this video. Huey Long saved Louisiana.

Huey Long had the Share Our Wealth program. That program would have limited the amount of wealth the rich could make. Long would have defeated Roosevelt. The rich had Long killed and Roosevelt's New Deal was installed but only lasted for a few years. Huey Long was a God send that was taken away before he could establish a socialist economy in America.
