My wife and I live in a city with good public transport and a hospital that’s 15 minutes away. We are both in our 60’s and never dreamed of living in the middle of nowhere.

Question. I have custom orthotics and have replaced the top cover with a replacement off amazon since it's cheaper than having the podiatrist do it. However the part where the plastic ends at the ball of the foot is a steep 3 or 4 mm drop off. what material can i use to taper the transition and glue the bottom part of the new top cover?

I really had no problems growing up with CMT, in wich i found out what might have caused this symptom. Some kind of pathogen disease and or environmental illness caused it. Proper testing can figure it out. What was found was 2 tick diseases, 2 candidas, mold mycotoxins and a virus, and these all turned nuerological and an immune suppressing issue and also worsened my charco-Marie-tooth symptom. Looking forward to getting stem cells which will repair the myelin sheath and nerve problems. No need for people to suffer when there are causes which can be found and cures which also can be made and are curative therapies available.

In the spring of 2002, I was living in a women's dormitory. One Friday afternoon, I was straightening up a few things in my room and accidentally knocked a bottle of shampoo off the dresser and onto my right foot. It hurt for a moment, but I didn't feel any pain for three days. When the pain started, I contacted my dad at his work and asked him to take me to the ER when he got off work. At the ER, the doctor took X-rays and determined my toe was not broken, but I was diagnosed with cellulitis. After a few doctor appointments, the cellulitis cleared up, but my toe still looked bad. A little over a year after that happened, my husband and I got married, and we still were trying to figure out how to get my toe looking better. In the spring of 2006, my toe started hurting again, so I left a note for my husband, telling him I was going to the ER. I told him to call his mom and meet me there while I took a cab. (Neither of us drive, BTW.) At the ER, I was given more antibiotics. In 2009, my dad got me in to see a podiatrist, and we've been trying everything. In fact, sometime before the pandemic, the podiatrist removed my bad toenail, but it grew back, looking just as bad. When I went to the doctor last year, I was told that one toenail was growing over another. I"m hoping the podiatrist can remove it either when I have my appointment next month, or at a future appointment.

Orthotics are useless as they do not strengthen the muscle in your feet this meaning you will be using them for life and ultimately ruin the shape of your feet it’s better to learn more about barefoot shoes or minimal shoes as they do help strengthen them I advice looking at squat university KZbin channel as he gives great advice on this topic

Do you have a reference for the reduced life expectancy research? As the NHS website and many other information sources suggest normal life expectancy
