Memories of flying a K4 at the 1971 Vintage Glider Rally at Camphill. 19 year old pilot with only 3 years solo experience . Just celebrated 57 years in gliding and flying. Still going! John FAI/BGA 51417.

To grow old with your beloved glider is a very worthy ambition.

Chickens, along with every other bird, except the owl, actually blink from their lower eyelid. That side eyelid is to keep their eyes safe when they're hunting for food in tall grass. Most other animals have it too.

Depends on how strong/heavy you are. Normal jumping stilts for adults cost around 300€ (=390$). Getting information from websites would be the best option I think.

I still don't get why people hate on Powerisers. After some hours of proper training I already did my first few flips and was able to jump 6+ feet high, doing this is a hack lot of fun. I didn't hurt myself, neither I fell. And please don't come up with your medieval skills without stilts or racist jokes. They DO make you jump higher/run faster.
