My absolute favorite role for her was as Paige from Batman. She played Calendar Girl, a model used and tossed aside who sought vengeance against the people responsible for using her. It was a dark role and Sela voiced the character perfectly. You can really feel how personal the episode was to her as the character had body dysmorphia and wore a white mask covering her face and refusing to let anyone see her. When she finally was unmasked we expect a hideously deformed model from all the surgeries and yet Batgirl claims she’s beautiful. Batman says she can’t see that anymore, all she can see are the flaws and you can tell Sera took that role personally as she struggled with similar issues. Phenomenal actress.

Is somebody who works in animal rescue. I can tell you right now they are right. These groups generally tend to be made up of a lot of women.
