So sorry to lose Tony. This was a wonderful prsentation. We have "Dark Ships in the Forest". I've taught some of the songs from it. It's a beautiful collection and the harmonies are extrordinary. The story of Mr. Fox was told to us years ago by Shira Kammen & John Fleagle.

Such a force for fantastic, fiddle music as well as carrying on and welcoming new musicians and new dancers to contra dance. After my nearly 50 years of being inspired by David, simultaneously miss him and feel he is always with us!

In a few days it will be the 5th anniversary of the death of my papa. he, along with my nana, raised me since I was 7. The doctor who was taking care of him recommended this song because it is based on the psalm that means the most to my family. we played this many times around his bedside during the last days of his life. Now I stumbled across it in my saved videos and am crying. Thank you for providing such comfort to our family during that time.

So, if you go to the United States, don't be fooled by Las Vegas and its casinos, or the skyscrapers of New York. Go to the heart, go dance contra dance. You're welcome.

When we talk about what we like about the United States or what we think about its culture, I say that for me, the most representative thing about the country is the contradance. Not its space technology, or its powerful companies, or the dollar. It's the contradance.

Gorgeous - Love it. I watched this lots of times and it took me ages to see the sleeping baby. How lovely for him/her to hear and feel those lovely voices whilst they sleep. And well done to the choir leader for being so inclusive and allowing it!

I am trying to work out what the caller is saying - something that sounds like 'alaman'. Is this a type of dance step or figure (Allemande?) The 'transcript' is amusing but not helpful in the least - KZbin's voice-to-text software clearly needs updating ('Taliban', 'Alabama', 'Ala man', 'Allen man', 'Alamin', 'Allahu alem man', 'Alamelu'...)
